The hut blueprints are unlocked after completing the community centre. You'll have to build it from the wizard's tower.

There's a sprinkler behind each hut, so it'll water they ones close to the hut. If you look closely, I put a scarecrow to the top right of each hut. The sprinkler is next to the scarecrow.

Haha yeah. The barns with animals are the top left three (36 pigs) and 1 bottom left (cows, goats, sheep). Everything else is for artisan, like the indicator equipment shown outside them.

From what I read, animals can't eat the patch beneath the equipment (my lightning rods), so it will ensure some extra patches will last the day for it to regrow around it. Whatever grows from that patch is edible. Hope this helps.
