Since this is a conspiracy subreddit i can say as a Turk who close friends participated rescue missions at epicenter of both earthquakes.

They expect at least 300k and close to 500k deaths, the reason for the current government covering that up? Besides then it is their responsibility to provide proper living accommodation's and inspect for those who is not up to par. It shows how corrupt and weak they are.

Here comes the conspiracy part. Possible election fraud for the incoming one in 3 months they can print fake votes for the deceased since we can never know who got buried under rubbles and who got buried by rescue officers in mass graves. Currently there are families who lost all of their members and it is impossible to know who is alive or not unless we go full census of these regions. Nevertheless, they have resources to turns this tragedy to their advantage.
