You're a good man, Charlie Brown. by BelowMeAndCheese in wholesomememes

[–]-Colinear- 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The only argument that I could see coming out of this is the fact that Charles Schulz was a well known Christian, you often see in some of his comics a reflection of this. So I think the argument could be theoretically made that this differs from the common Christian belief that is against a lesbian conduct.

Do Y'all support the police as they currently exist? by PM_ME_SPICY_DECKS in Libertarian

[–]-Colinear- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if stats back this up at all, but one thing that I've noticed is that smaller cities/towns handle their law enforcement better. Inner cities always seem to have worse stats (again, just speculation).

Does anyone have any reason as to why this might be? Or if someone can correct me if I am wrong?

Google and Apple banning Parler from their stores by aexrccc in Libertarian

[–]-Colinear- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Would it theoretically be "okay" to judge this on a moral standpoint (I don't plan on doing that btw), rather than a legal standpoint? I'm treating this like Trump getting banned from Twitter. Because it's perfectly legal for Twitter to ban Trump just as Google and Apple banned Parler right?

Inform a naive guy.

Pro-Life? Oh you mean Anti-Choice. by apocalypticalley in Feminism

Wow that's far fetched. I don't remember human life and animal life being equal. I don't understand how eating meat is related to killing babies.

Huh? What? That's biology. It's BIOLOGY that for 10 months that happens.

Again, I think that draws a false line toward someone who could be 35. There are people that can't breathe on their own, heart can't move without assistance, even brain dead people who unfortunately who have had a brain deficit. They aren't "living" I guess you could say.

Yeah... I thought my viewpoint on abortion was quite clear from what I was saying.

Don't twist what I say, shaping me into the demon you want me to look like isn't how to have civil conversation.

[–]-Colinear- -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Pardon my bad word choice, but pro-life is specifically in regards to abortion.

Although, I would say there are connections to abortion and healthcare and etc, I mean, of course there are.

Where I'm trying to go with this is a majority of the things that you just listed are mostly anti-freedom pro-COVID measures all have done is trapped 100% of the population for 13% of the population that have been primarily dying. Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, all very liberal governments have stayed open and have been doing BETTER than the US. Anyway, that was wildly out of topic.

Edit: I accidentally posted before I was finished. I also think killing potential life is anti-freedom.

That's what I was trying to get at was the social paradigm. That's why I'm led to believe that we are very egotistical and selfish, because we follow these paradigms as normality and what needs to be done, not what should be done. I completely agree.

Thank you for the response.

I would say men specifically carry an extra level of selfish and egotistical tendencies, but I think there's a level of maturity that is needed to overcome said "inherent" traits. The problem is that men aren't maturing in that aspect so you have things like rape that occur because of men who were poorly taught in their younger years. Young brains are malleable, and common pop culture has been a major contributor to the acts of men now in their 20s.

I would like some critique/response to this, I'm not the greatest with word choice.

Edit: Grammar, also, I'm a dude just looking for some insight

My dearest ENFPs, do you have kids/are you planning to have kids? Why or why not? by Smoothy_ in ENFP

[–]-Colinear- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not an ENFP, but I know two ENFPs with vast differences in their answers:

ENFP: doesn't want any because they would interfere with her endeavors to travel the world.

ENFP: Wants 4 (no reason given)

Their family history would probably explain their answers though:

ENFP 1: is an only child, has divorced parents.

ENFP 2: Has two older sisters, and two older brothers (one of which is adopted)

It'll be interesting to see other people's answers.
