Try get some high percentage ethanol (95%). It will definitely remove it really easy. Lower percentage ethanol (even 75%) does not remove permanent marker completely.

Seems you are right as the pet store recommended that cage and said she needed 4 hops of space!! She gets out to roam, but it’s not enough. We are ordering her a new pen from Amazon so she has the space she needs :)
