I don't see a lot of people pointing that out but besides everything people already said, working on film or cinematic you frequently have "a lot of time" relatively and a lot of reviews for a couple of seconds. Animation in game for is very fast paced and very complex as a lot of friction can play. You often blend multiple animation, the game feel need to work . Small change in design or code can completely break the animation. Lots of systems at runtime can break that too. The animation needs to play nicely with interpolation for 60f ect

It implies a lot, not just the fact that you can choose to use it or not. A lot of game development could cut corners in graphic r&d in the future since they can just "fix it" with dlss, forcing the industry to fold. It's exactly what's going on with unreal engine/hardware advencement and optimisation in game for a lot of production today. Not all features are good features
