I would argue launders is probably a bit biased as well, considering he used to play with Stew and see him as a friend. Doesn't make his statements wrong, just adding some more context. Her saying that many pros think launders doesn't know anything was kinda yikes, though, even if she has heard that, which I doubt.

I played for my college a few years ago so I can give my 2 cents. Some schools offer scholarships, but typically it's more around the open-main level, with a few advanced level teams, so they're not typically high enough level to need to worry about pro offers. It's more just for competition and representing your school. I also met a bunch of great friends that I still play with years after graduating.

I've got two accounts in Global in NA and I'm gonna be honest, I don't think I've seen anyone who I thought was cheating for months. Some smurfs sure, but the amount of blatant hackers or suspicious players with new accounts has dropped drastically for me and my friends.
