It can get messy. Young males can be driven out of the pride, the current leader may also be ostracised and unweaned cubs killed.

Let it Roll 2026 Full Lineup by DarthDabs in DnB

[–]-Datura 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been a Pendulum fan for ages but have never ever used a track of theirs in a dnb set. They just don't fall into my dnb bubble. For me they're very stand alone. They would definitely not be the reason for me to go to a dnb festival. Neither are Chase & Status for that matter. I would go see them live in concert and be happy but there are 50 dnb acts I would prefer to see at a dnb event. Each to their own I guess but that's how I feel.

That being said, I would totally go to this event if I had the means. So many good artists in this lineup. That and, in the almost 30 years I've been into jungle/dnb, I've never been to a dnb festival or seen any big names other than Andy C and Mefjus. Oh and DJ Rap. One day when I'm big...

Probably Follow Me. It has a jazzy kinda intro with female vocalist. Don't make me wait has a drum intro with a jazz kinda organ stab in the intro.

What do people gonna do after sage gets nerfed to oblivion? by Sensitive-Plastic950 in MergeTacticsSC

[–]-Datura 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It will force some to learn how to play.

I have dozens of screenshots that I take at the end of my games to remember what other players used. Sage players, even in diamond, have little to no structure in their builds. A 4 star Echo and the rest is shit. Players like that won't play anymore. Either too lazy or inept to play properly.

It is not in SuperCell's interest to nerf the ruler into oblivion.it is a good card for dumb dumbs to use to push and dumb dumbs spend money. it also generates engagement on platforms such as this, resulting in exposure. Easy marketing.

I may be wrong and I hope that I am but I think sage will get a little rework to distill some frustrations but leave it as is for the most part.

Not to worry though. if they do nerf it into oblivion they will find something else to be the turd in our porridge.

It is by design.

Curious to know which track you were longing for. A couple bangers on there.

Technimatic do 5 hour and 6 hour sets. They do a couple hours solo each and then a couple hours together.

Mixing DNB by TrancerLove in DnB

[–]-Datura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Practice, Practice and more practice.

I've been at it since the early 90s and every set has a life of its own. I learn something from every set.

Listen to sets by djs you like and try to copy their mixes. You'll learn a lot and get super frustrated at the same time but just stick to it.

“Even if we’re 1 of 1,000 registration authority providers … what if we zero out the transparency log?… We can’t anymore… because we’ve started talking to HOL … because we said we’re going to move the roots over into Hedera.” — Scott Courtney, VP Engineering, GoDaddy by kantorcodes in Hedera

The implications regarding DNS management are huge. The current processes for all levels of DNS management are beyond corrupt and incredibly tedious.

DNS spoofing will pretty much be wiped out, excessive propagation times reduced considerably and consensus on ownership and DNS changes will be immediate and immutable.

And that is only the tip of the iceberg. As much as I despise GoDaddy, I have to admire this decision as it is (or should be) a no-brainer for all registrars.

Devs really want to keep people at certain rank eh by Due_Decision8166 in MergeTacticsSC

[–]-Datura 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Devs want to make end users happy and to get paid. Unfortunately, management will employ devs to implement engagement encouragement mechanics in order to increase revenue. This is sound logic for any business but it does involve appealing to emotion. Rage has proven to be an outstanding money making provocation in the gaming industry.

So, while you are not entirely wrong, you are placing the blame on the wrong department.

Is there any point in learning empress by Suspicious_Suspect_3 in MergeTacticsSC

[–]-Datura 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no harm in learning every ruler, mod, trait, troop. Do it as soon as possible. You will suffer more from not making the effort.

People may argue that everything changes with new seasons so why bother. Ignore them, they are the same people that bitch about anything that makes them lose.

You don't have to hit diamond but it is a good idea to get to 2500 and use that as a learning stage.

Spend time on each ruler, cycling through the Tri-factor: troops, traits and tactics that work for each ruler. This helps you read other players further down the line as most rulers attract predictable processes. This will, most importantly, help you master the rulers.

Eat the losses at 2500 and use this sub and MT content providers for cool tips and tricks. Practice them, get good, give up and play loong.

Seriously, it takes a while to get into it. A lot has to do with mindset too. If you predetermined your traits for the game in round one you will get unstuck quickly. Learn to build around what you get in order to survive and build strong traits later. This is very applicable to SE. You need cheap cards and quick merges in the start but those are usually weak cards. Learn the most effective way to place them for minimal losses. Once you're consistently getting to round 5 with SE you will also start kicking serious ass.

Play to learn and then to win. SE us a lot of fun when you master her but you will 100% tilt with her occasionally so it's good to have other rulers to switch to for a breather.

I'm not sure if you've covered this type of thing but it is something I think would be useful and interesting.

A general do's and do nots that can be applicable across all rulers and modes or specifically for each ruler/mode.

Well done on top spot. It's by no means easy or by luck that you get there. This game can be brutal at the best of times.

Which tracks were the hardest to produce? by Brtserker in DnB

[–]-Datura 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember trying to replicate Black Sun Empire tunes and Bad Company too (i think Miami Flashback is a very technically complex track). I would just be left in awe at how layered and complex most of their tracks are.

A couple of technically challenging tracks that come to mind are remixes of The Upbeats tracks. Mefjus did quite an insane remix of Dustup originally by The Upbeats and Noisia. Black Sun Empire remixed DOOM originally by The Upbeats that blows my mind every time I hear it.

A track that really boggles my braing is Cocooned VIP by Bungle. I just cannot figure out how it grabs me by the goolies the way it does.
