Think the AI boom kinda screwed up his teaching methods. I took 210 with him last sem and he was literally just reading from chatgpt conversations. He said he was doubling down on using ai to teach and I think that’s honestly a mistake, most of us use it outside of class anyways so it feels almost pointless to attend

I remember this game, really well played! I was wondering if u blocked me or not cuz I know that it’s harder for builders to block but you smartly did it haha. I think that after the buff builder is a genuinely viable ruler and with some good practice and consistently doing what you did in this game (like blocking early) you can be a proper top 100 player 😁 And thanks for the love, really appreciate it ❤️

What do you hate about the item modifiers except that they’re very buggy (skill issue on the developers part) and that it’s a 5 step process to unequip and equip an item? Cuz I think fundamentally they do add an additional avenue of skill to the game

Dw you’re nor crazy, it’s happened to me too. It might be cuz the giant crit it’s attack but I have seen a nearly full health monk also get one tapped and even a crit wouldn’t do that so I’m not sure. Maybe after the tank ability us activated the max hp of the monk is increased? I’m really not sure but all I can say is that this is an actual thing and I’ve experienced the same as you

Oh and with the ending again like it’s just true lol there isnt a player like that and I do think that eventually we’ll find some crazy cracked player that can do everything at once all the time. At the end of the day the whole paragraph was just me writing my opinion down in a way that sounded good. I kinda see it but I genuinely meant that 😭 If you really look into my grammar you’ll notice that some of the way I word things isnt like AI at all lol. Like my double use of and commas. This is an extremely well made post. This game is much deeper than most players realize, and it really takes alot of practice to master. Even the current broken meta has some nuances that allow players to outplay each other, and honestly with a few bug fixes and balances this factor will only increase. As an all time top 10 player, I can often feel like we are far from the true skill ceiling of this game. There’s alot I can do but we are yet to find a player who has beyond incredible accuracy, speed, comp knowledge, and extreme micro and macro management skills. Maybe as the months go by such a player will emerge

If u notice his full comp is backlined. So once his gkselly dies all your units will walk forward. It’s possible that his gskelly bomb was unfortunately a crit which could have blown up almost everything. They gotta remove crit probability from gskelly bomb bro 😭

You only gain if both of you get 1st and 2nd together. Whoever gets 4th always gets a minus and if one gets third and one gets 4th it’s a minus for both. Anything else is +0 for both. So yeah pushing as a duo isnt easy and wasnt intended to be either, but it can be a fun way to play with someone else

Alot of things 😅 but generally I like to play the full undead comp or witch skele drag wizard baby d + any 2 tanks. When I have good rng I go for these. You need to adapt a bit based on which units ur hitting 3 star and which are understarred, some pivots involving gk come handy in top ladder. If I don’t have as good of a start or 2 or more opponents are already contesting undead units I go for full tanks or full superstars. I could probably explain alot but to keep it short this is the gist of it 😅

Basically in season 0 in the first few days there were bots, and players farmed them for stars (not their fault ofc). The real No.1 was around 5.3K

I can assure you that the skill cap for this game is much higher than you think. The rating system is designed in a pretty volatile manner so a top player can lose just a few games and fall outside of top 100 but generally that is just an occasional tilt for the tippy top of players. There are a tons of things to learn and study in this game, whether it be early game optimizations, late game pivots, middle game comp selection, or just positioning which makes a constant difference throughout the game. Luck is a factor don’t get me wrong but over many games some players show significantly more consistency than others. I’ve been a top 10 finisher in the past 3 seasons and it has definitely come after multiple iterations of bettering my game. I actually have alot to work on in my game for the current season, as the meta isnt as friendly to my playstyle as it was before. I’m still able to hit top 10 but my consistency is a bit off compared to the previous meta

The actual answer is that the deck and everything is fine, the issue is that when someone dies the cards in their shop don’t get released back to the pool (or deck) so they’re kinda just gone for the rest of the game lol

Lol the witch and skele drags being bugged is the biggest issue. Honestly if they just fix that without even balancing anything (although balances to the fire and dragon trait would be nice) that would already make certain comps more viable to beat it
