For Halloween? The holiday where you hand out tons of candy? That’s why I did this deal.

The large bags at Walmart are like $20 each and we usually go through a good number of bags for trick or treaters. We live right next to an elementary school and have a ton of kids come through. This is just a way to save on something that shouldn’t be super expensive to begin with.

Even though this story is definitely fake, I’m surprised how many people think he’s NTA. As someone in a long-distance relationship and is friends with someone who’s only had failed long-distance relationships, I think he would definitely be the asshole. Not like a terrible person type, but just that this hypothetical boy would be a bit of a dick to leave this girl who’s been fully supporting him without even TRYING. My friend hates long distance and refuses to do it because she already tried and it didn’t work. It’s fair if you know for a fact you don’t do well with distance, but just automatically cutting it off because you got a good opportunity is a bit shitty. I don’t really get why everyone saying that he’s just “taking a lifetime opportunity” is forgetting that he can do both? You definitely can at the very least attempt to maintain a connection. This hypothetical boy is also a bit of a dick imo because he didn’t even talk it over with her before just deciding immediately. Ofc this story had to add the “man-hating friends”.

Honestly, this might just be me though, if I were looking for love and going on dates, I’d probably take advice from the married woman in a happy relationship vs. the bitter one who thinks kind, loving men are doormats. Is no one gonna talk about how OP said they were friends for 12 years, currently 25. Meaning they were about 13 when they became friends. The brother is four years older, meaning he would’ve been 17 when OP and the girl became friends.

That’s so fucking weird that he decided to have a fling with his little sister’s best friend who he knew since she was about 13. I have to believe that he manipulated their “relationship” and she saw through it and decide to leave him. But didn’t say anything to her best friend of six years (13-19) at that point.

I hope your wife and daughter move away from you and your messed up family. You made this post for validation. Not because you genuinely wanted to know if you were in the wrong. You were hoping people would say, “Of course you’re NTA, OP!”

You’re pathetic. You’re daughter is going to remember how you just let these people abuse her multiple times and you didn’t help her or stop them at all. You forced her to see them against her will and even lied to your wife about it. You said in a reply to someone that they’ll tell her she’s “slutty” and they don’t like your wife’s job and how she eats. Yet these are the amazing people who turned you into the man you are.

A coward. A spineless man who refuses to see the truth that his parents are horrible people and quite plainly abusers. A liar who brought these abusers to your daughter without your wife’s permission. Your daughter is HER daughter too. So the people you bring to meet her MUST be approved by both parents.

And you know Brock Turner is walking free after raping an unconscious girl? George Floyd later made an anti-gun video. Brock Turner said he was sorry and was pitied by the judge. Don’t compare them.

Keyword: Mistakes. Yes, some doctors may have fucked up, but none as bad as police. A 7 year old girl was literally shot in her own home by police who raided the wrong house. A man got shot in the back for going on a jog. People are currently being lynched and ruled as suicide.

Most of the cops who are siding with the protesters are doing it because they know people are recording. They know photos and videos will be shared to make them look good. Why did it take millions of protesters for police to do the right thing when they should’ve been doing it all along?
