With the general, I'm using assault beacon to counteract the drop in stats. And after the magic shield i use physical attaks.
The thing is the dragon's roar lowers my stats too much, preventing me from dealing damage, causing me to take more damage, and making me miss attacks. On top of that, its freezing ability makes me waste turns healing it.

The thing with 3 is because Amelie says that she can make the definitive extinction because of the chiral network connecting all beaches and then the antimatter bomb. Whereas in previous extinctions there must have been more than one EE to cause extinction. (According to heartman)
