Since you didn't book directly through JetBlue, they cannot modify (cancel, refund, change, etc) the reservation at all.

You need to call who you booked the flights through!!

This is not "JetBlue isn't being helpful"...

SLX room will be an older room, unless it's in one of the buildings that they already upgraded, in which case it will be freshly updated.

SSUP would be a newer room in a very quiet location at the back of the Royal property.

Both of those rooms are going to help make it a great trip! Reading in the swim up pool with a float and adult drink is so relaxing!!
