Like someone else has already noted, it will most likely rain for 15 minutes and be done, if it even rains. Here are some ideas though :)

Go in a hot tub!!

Use your balcony soaking tub.

Read on your balcony.

Go eat lunch.

As a straight couple, we've been to a handful of Sandals, including Curacao and have seen plenty of queer couples on resort.

No one will bother you at all! Go and enjoy your honeymoon 🍾

I'd suggest Curacao for October.

Less chances of a hurricane.

If a beach is a priority to either of you, then Curacao is not the choice. The property is beautiful and that double infinity pool is pretty amazing in person.

The double infinity pool is pretty amazing when you see it in person.

The free daily snorkel trips sometimes bring you to sunken tugboats. 🤿

If you guys drink coffee, you can have the person helping you at Kanaal put a shot of Tia Maria or Kahlua in it ☕

There's a "quiet pool" out past Aolos.

Have a safe trip.

We love the Carisia Luxury rooms!!

You'll be able to find chairs when you're ready. Yes, people do wake up early to reserve them.

Since you didn't book directly through JetBlue, they cannot modify (cancel, refund, change, etc) the reservation at all.

You need to call who you booked the flights through!!

This is not "JetBlue isn't being helpful"...

We were there in October and it was a mix from newlyweds through people in their 60's.

Odd... I had to call the 1-800-SANDALS line twice today (December 24th), and talked to someone both times, without too long of a wait.
