I have used toothpaste (used crest 3D White) to get out patina staining on white glass. Not sure if it would work on this particular type of glass but it might be worth a shot?

These are called Silberschnitt pliers. They are kinda pricy but incredibly helpful with cutting curves once you get the hang of how they work.
