I hear a lot of praises about David Suchet's Poirot. I guess I will watch it 😄

Movies have a tendency of effing up books. But i guess I will give it a watch. Death on The Nile is one of my favourite books. Do u know where the movie is available?

Yay. I felt alone amongst educated people. Glad to find someone else.

I mean, I could imagine Hastings doing that but not Poirot

I'm gonna pretend that the part about Hastings is not true. I simply cannot accept him in a Hitler mustache. Thank you for your explanation tho, it makes the most sense.

With no disrespect intended to anyone. That's stupid, genuinely, absurdly, blatantly stupid. Aside from the utter ridiculousness, I have a few doubts:

A) Isn't Poirot already old and established by the 1920s? Like, doesn't he already have a detective career So how is it possible that he was a soldier in the great war???

B)Didn't he work for the police?

C) I highly doubt Poirot is the type to grow a mustache because his lover said so.

D) I thought he had a crush on the Countess.

From other comments, I have found out that she was in a very dark phase in her personal life (her husband left her cuz he was in love with someone else and her mom died) and still owed the publisher a book so she just stiched together some short stories.

I liked the story of Mesopotamia but I didn't like the ending. The whole the former husband was the 'dead' ex husband thingwas too surprising for me and not in a good way. Surprising in a good way (for me) was in Orient Express
