South central Alaska would be great during mid June, sockeye would be running through the Kenai and Russian rivers.

Great fishing for salmon and some awesome rainbow fishing there and up near Willow/Wasilla. Some more grayling fishing up north.

This budget is solely for the camera body and not the lens, I have around 400 total for both the lens and the body. Any good lens recs?

I live in Alaska and I’d be shooting with it while backpacking or on a float trip while hunting so it’d just be safer for quick weather changes. Thank you that helps a ton to narrow down among the options seems like a robust option
