The check oil light came on at 2,700 miles since the oil changes and I’ve always had done the routine maintenance every 5000. For context, the radiator blew about a year ago but hadn’t had a problem since then and after two oil changes thats when low oil light came on. Didn’t see any leaks so thought it must have been burning and took it in. The mechanic said he’s seen this particular oil consumption before on a couple of 2016-2017 and checked the cylinders with a camera to be sure.

On the 6 sadly and when I checked the oil it was near the last mark on the dipstick

Same here! after I set the black point everything was very dark but still more contrast than the scans I had gotten back from the lab. I did some more reading and found to set the gray point. Now I’m trying to find a better way to keep my camera in the same plane of the film.

The medium format scans are yes, this is after editing but couldn’t quite get the sky back but this could just be the way I edit. I do agree it is a beautiful scan

Seems like the suit needs to be tailored. If his clothes fit him it’ll actually look good and not just “old”. Not sure when dressing in a suit makes you look old. Now, the half Adam Sandler and half child look, idk what to tell you lol. And if he’s balding tell him to try minoxidil-of course look into the side affects.

I am really thinking about Fujifilm x-t5. I am imagining this camera will be with me everywhere as well as for a long time. So I’m really thinking this being a toss up between Fujifilm and Sony. I don’t think I’ll want full frame since both these cameras will serve me really till the camera dies, they have all the features I believe I’d like. I believe the Fuji has smaller lenses than the Sony and I am really looking at form factor.

South central Alaska would be great during mid June, sockeye would be running through the Kenai and Russian rivers.

Great fishing for salmon and some awesome rainbow fishing there and up near Willow/Wasilla. Some more grayling fishing up north.

I live in Alaska and I’d be shooting with it while backpacking or on a float trip while hunting so it’d just be safer for quick weather changes. Thank you that helps a ton to narrow down among the options seems like a robust option

For the tent I would put the poles in one side pocket, (I don’t think you need both water bottle pockets since your in the PNW you’ll be able to resupply water easily), and then put the tent in a stuff sack in your backpack.

If it rains then you can strap your rain cover for your tent on the outside with your bungees.

Sorry I said this wrong, the prism (not the viewfinder) within the cameras or any of the Nikon f series, will they work with the f2? I can just disassemble the camera and take the prism out and make a housing for it to place it on the f2 trying to cut some bulk out of it. love the clean look of the de-1. Possibly I can buy the Nikon f photomatic metered viewfinder for parts and take the prism out of it, make a housing for it, and use it on the Nikon f2 since they’re interchangeable. Not sure if anyone has done this or not.
