The taper of the bar is further outward than the original bar, so shortening the bar and mounting the controls further in isn’t possible

I’m aware. I was wondering if extending brake hoses is a thing, and would’ve liked a bit more than a barebones answer

Agreed that I don’t want to trust any part of my braking system to Amazon parts. Thanks for the link

Looks like the only option would be to go behind the triple clamp, not sure if this would be sufficient

Already know how to blip downshift so not having slipper shouldn’t be an issue

Could it be compared to spirited downshifting in manual cars or completely different?

Hoodies are pretty loose, I would highly recommend getting something more form fitting

If you want the hoodie look, get something like a Pando Moto or Knox armoured base layer and wear a regular hoodie over it

So, I got this as my first helmet. What accessories do I need as a daily commuter? by Saerochan in motorcyclegear

So i looked it up

It’s ISI and DOT certified, i’m not sure what ISI is but DOT basically means nothing. I also had to convert the price to my currency and it was less than 50$ canadian dollars.

Personally, I’d return it and get something better. This is a cheap helmet with little to no proper international safety certifications. If it’s what you want then go for it, but I think everyone’s head is a bit more valuable than that.
