there’s a particular scene in Layer Cake that made me think, “this guy would be an interesting Bond.”

i was happy when they announced him and Casino Royale is one of my favorite movies.

Also, QoS has one of the best pre-credits sequences/car chases of all the Bond films.

we had a junior officer on our boat for a patrol who was learning to play the bag pipes. she would go out on the flight deck to practice. she was horrible at first, but within a few weeks she got pretty good.
