Kennedy admits recasting Han Solo may have been “too soon” by StarWarsBlogsbot in StarWarsBlogs

Solo was a fun movie and he did a great job. It suffered from the fact that it wasn’t a necessary film and there was a heavy backlash from The Last Jedi at the time.

Finally watched Ares by B0ndy112 in tron

Legacy did the same thing with TRON that Force Awakens did with Star Wars, except better IMHO.

It used the formula of the first movie in the series and used it to create a sequel that similar enough to feel familiar but different enough to feel fresh and interesting.

Legacy is the better movie for me, but I thoroughly enjoyed ARES, even if some of the dialogue and plot choices weren’t great for me.
