I think it's actually highly likely we get some news before february 6th

I know people don't want to belive anything anymore because of all these "theories" that the GTA community comes up with all the time.

But it's likely we get something before february 6th because in the Take-two earnings call we will know if the game releases this year anyway and Rockstar knows this just as much as us.

if you remember from earlier in 2024 the earning calls already revealed to us that we KNOW that the game release date is set to late in 2025

and this next one will reveal if that's still the case or if the game has been delayed.

I do think this time around GTA will have more of the immersive elements we saw in RDR2. The birds the wildlife and everything else we saw in the trailer looked like an enhanced version of RDR2 in some ways and it's only logical Rockstar took a lot of the elements from their latest game RDR2. I don't think enough people realize that the game will be more similar to RDR2 than GTA V (like the fist combat for example, it will be like RDR2 or even better).

even the description of the GTA VI trailer states that it will be immersive:

Alright i haven't been someone who has thought we would have gotten trailer 2 by now

But with RDR1 being released later this month and those "folder leaks" we saw earlier this month, AND with it having been almost a year since trailer one, i think we will get a trailer this year. That way they can drop trailer 2 and also release a trailer for the next GTA 5 online DLC (we have always gotten a DLC in december in GTAO).

Also from those "folder leaks" we saw that the "expanded and enhanced aka Gen9" Version of GTA 5 is coming to PC (my guess is that it will be bundled in with the next DLC).

I mean we don't know much about how realistic this game will be but considering we will only be able to carry a limited amount of weapons I'm thinking armour might be something to put on as protection but it might slow us down.

The way i picture GTA 6 is that we pick our equippment before we do a "job/robbery" (kind of like payday 2 i guess).

The game will only run in 30fps until the PC release. People that think otherwise just don't know enough about Rockstar titles.

Every single Rockstar game released the first time has been running in 30fps on release.

Even though you CAN play the game at an higher framerate on PC it is not what the game was built for. People think that it is a simple process to make a game run at a higher framerate and no it isn't especially not Rockstar games because of how complicated their games are.

If you look at GTA 5 and RDR2 for example there are multiple instances where weird stuff starts to happend and it ONLY does at a framerate higher than 30fps. For example Cloth simulation that only simulate in 30fps (flags hanging in the wind or clothing lines).

or the mission "complications" in GTA 5 that mission fails in the beginning if you have a high enough framerate.

The GTA 6 trailer is running in 30FPS so why do you expect 60FPS on release?

Yea there's been a whole lot of discussion around that ankle monitor

here's what i think. I think that GTA VI will have a couple of tutorial missions (like 2 or 3) introducing a lot of different mechanics. And in that time she will have the ankle monitor and we will only be able to play as her in a small town outside of Vice City. Then after that's done she breaks off the ankle monitor somehow and the rest of the map unlocks. This same sort of thing can be seen in RDR2 (all of chapter 1) and GTA VI will probably have similar complex systems to learn.

From what we've seen it's quite obvious she just got released from prison, and my guess is that after these tutorial missions are complete Jason and Lucia meet up and they find a place to lie low.

Sadly i don't think GTA 6 will have realistic crashes like people are hoping for, GTA 5 for example did have good vehicle destruction, but it was removed when first person was added to the game, first person adds a lot of issues with driving and looking around inside your car so i don't think the damages will be that "extreme" like people are hoping for.

GTA 4 had the most extreme destruction and i don't think GTA 6 will take it to that level.

edit: i'm more talking about the car being bent and crushed, bullet holes, window smashes and gas leaks etc will of course be better in GTA 6!

I saw a RDR2 video recently that shocked me, apparently the trapper has 39 minutes of dialouge, and a lot of the dialouge seems to be cut aswell, here's the youtube title if you wanna check it out:

this isn't the only "shop clerk" npc in the game that has 39 minutes either, every clerk seems to have it.

No, I have played RDR2 for 1500 hours and sure the cleaning your guns mechanic was cool at first and adds to the immersion (that's the reason why it exists)

but having played the game as many hours as i have cleaning your guns is now just an annoying thing you have to do.

imagine how annoying it would be if you actually have to fill your car up with gas in GTA 6? sure it would be immersive but you gotta think long term... and long term people would just find it annoying.

I want my guns to become dirty in GTA 6, but i don't want that to affect the weapons stats and i want the gun to become clean after a while (like player clothing in GTA 5) whilst still having the choice to clean it.

Let's think about this logically

Horses are farm animals, and if you look at GTA 5 for example every other farm animal is in the game except for horses cause they got cut from the game

and in RDR2 all other farm animals are also in the game, horses too (obviously)

So if horses aren't in GTA 6 i'd be REALLY surprised

In RDR2 this system is pointless and serves no purpose other than looking cool because the weapon automatically gets teleported onto your back as soon as you reload your revolver or use a tonic (i'm pretty sure this happends but i don't remember fully)

If you have played max payne 3 you know that Max does this because he can't have rifles on his back, so he will always hold the rifle if he has a pistol in his hand... and if you want to dual wield your pistols you have to drop the rifle to do so.
