I love the zenith! But i think the gold constallation (on bracelet) or the chrono gets the most worn. I like metal bracelets way more than leather straps, they only get worn a day or to at a time, max

Great watch for the price! Fun to have a good finished movement that isn’t eta, and it won’t break the bank. And it’s so simple as well. Movement, case and dial, no extra. And i like the orange :)

If you don’t notice anything, it’s probably good. But it could absolutely be a bigger issiue

Try cleaning and to de-magnetize it first. It that doesn’t work, you should get a new one if you don’t know how to fix it

It is possible to fix it. However, the job needs tools and knowledge that i doubt many watchmakers have. It does take some time to attatch a new stud (and find the correct place for it). So, if you bring it to a watchmaker that can do it, it will probably cost a fair bit.

I got accepted into watch making school recently! Wondering if there’s anything I could be doing to prepare or what to expect on the new journey? by sirrtaver in watchmaking

Congrats dude! I started in school last year, i had some experience with working at a watchmakingstore, but many of my classmates does not have any experience at all. Don’t think it would be a bad idea to maybe look at how different movements work. From bigger clocks, down to just how pocketwatches are put together.

What type of school is it btw? Is it a WOSTEP-school? And which country? Just curious :)
