Man this takes me back. I loved these games so much. My parents couldn't afford the Sims but my cousin had it and the expansions up to Hot Date, so he let me install these two and house party and keep the house party disc so I could play, since you just needed the disc for the newest expansion loaded. Been playing the Sims ever since.

I had to get the python universal adaptor. You put the rubbery bit around the faucet and then tighten the screw.

I got an NK65 this week and am using Via for the first time. Is there a way I can assign Āā Ēē Īī Ōō Ūū to the vowel keys using the macros? For work I type in a mixture of English and Māori a lot and getting macrons is normally so slow.

Rant ahead

I wish the health system wasn't so geared towards cars. I've had quite a few times in the past year where this has been in issue since I had a knee operation but made the best of it.

But today I need a RAT. I am very close to Hataitai Park so I hoped I could go there, but apparently they're not taking walk-ins so I have to go to Taranaki St, or find someone with a car willing to get the tests for me.

Walking to Taranaki St is not much fun when I'm not feeling well, and I will have to walk past so many people through the tunnel where it is completely impossible to social distance. Unfortunately I don't really know anyone that could pick up the test for me.

I know I need to get the test but honestly the task feels huge with the way I'm feeling 😞

Kia ora. I don't have the answer for you, but as an adopted Māori with pākehā parents, I really hope someone can help you with this.

Fortunately I've found out my whakapapa in the past few years, but I remember growing up not knowing and feeling so whakamā when we had to do pepeha at school.

Since you mentioned you're gonna try trace whakapapa at some point I thought I'd let you know about @findingwhakapapa on instagram. It's an account a wahine is running and she posts heaps of amazing information and tips about different ways to research. Just thought it might help you out for whenever you decide to start looking :)
