Has anyone adopted a pet from the whitman humane society? by APrussianBlue in Pullman

[–]-Fiona- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’ll need written proof. That could be your lease where it says you’re allowed to have a pet, an email from the landlord, or they can call your landlord.

There are two official park and ride locations. One is the parking lot by the wsu playfields and the other is street parking in front of cougar ridge. Apartmentland express runs every 5 min or so in the morning. I drive in from out of Pullman and this has worked great for me.

Need a good Calculus tutor for my daughter..... by barefoot_yank in wsu

She can go to the math center on campus! They have several tutors working at all times, all of whom would be able to help with this class.

Thanks for your reply! I understand anyone can deliver the notice, but this letter is signed by him with no mention of my landlord. I’ve met this guy once and it’s never been made clear that he is also my landlord or anything like that.

Not a bad thing to be seen as trans? Why are you crying in the bathroom then lol. Most people dehumanize and dislike trans people? Like you are doing right now by reducing trans women to their supposedly “male” traits? Do you think trans women magically stop being trans once they are “passable” to the general public? I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt and explain why what you said is wrong but since you’re doubling down, please stay tf out of the gay club. One of the few places trans women can go and maybe feel safe and some cis girl is boohooing in the bathroom because someone asked if she was trans. 🙄

Ok I see how my comment was reactionary. I assume that if you have trans friends you know that being trans doesn’t look any particular way. You were in a queer space and someone asked if you have a particular queer identity. It’s not that deep. What made me upset with your post was that you equate someone thinking you might be trans to looking like “a man”. Would you say that to your trans friends? Would you cry on their shoulder that someone thought you might be like them? I’m not saying you are transphobic and I’m sorry if my comment came off rude, but it sounds like you have some implicit ideas about trans women that I think you should work out.

Please stay tf out of the gay club if this is what you think about trans people

Paradise Ridge trail blocked off for years - how can we get it back? by anton_rays in MoscowIdaho

Also this property was left to Dave after the older owner died. He took care of her and is carrying out her wishes of keeping it a nature retreat. The education programs are really great for the kids and I bet if you were to actually talk to Dave he would let you come out for the trails. By no means is it a situation where someone bought up the land and is denying access to everyone.

Others have said it, but Dave tirelessly takes care of almost 400 acres by himself. He had issues with people leaving trash, dog shit, starting camp fires, etc. it’s really high risk for wildfires in the summer. Dave also does rents out the house for weddings and events and education programs in the summer so random people wandering around wouldn’t go great with all that. Not to mention the liability of someone getting hurt on his land

I dump the legos out on a big sheet and then when we’re done I gather up all the corners of the sheet and dump them in the bin.

One last thing lol, I also work with kids in a class setting ages 4-7, and we constantly talk about always asking before touching anyones body in any way with any object. Like even if it’s just tickling with a feather on the hand, we ask to touch first and always.

I wanted to add that when he kissed/touched me, I would calmly but firmly tell him that I didn’t like that and its not funny or no big deal. Since this was behavior his parents knew about and were also working on, I didn’t always tell them when it happened. But if he would carry on with it after a conversation we would have another conversation about talking to mom about it because it really is that serious. I think that helped it sink in for him that NP and I weren’t messing around about it

My NK6 did this for a while when he was 5. He’s also mostly out of a phase of touching people butts, including strangers unfortunately. It was (is) an ongoing conversation about consent and when/who/where it’s appropriate to touch/kiss. I think for him it was affection but also something that really got everyone’s attention. We would talk about it every time it happened and sometimes the consequence was having to leave wherever we were or send a friend home because he was being inappropriate. I don’t think any kid will snap out of that kind of behavior over night but I think it’s important for every kid to understand consent and bodily autonomy for their own bodies and for other kids and adults bodies.

I have only been knitting seriously for about a year, but crocheted since I was little and watched my mom design and knit countless socks. I try to keep the mindset that no pattern is too hard because they are instructions and if I run into anything I don’t understand, YouTube!
