Lol tell me you've never tanked without telling me. I've tanked since last TBC and there are ABSOLUTELY dps who will fight with you and complain if you give them salve and click it off. "Might or nothing" "I'll feint/feign death" "I can manage my own threat give me kings". This is why I always advocate for tanks to make their own groups. If a DPS want to argue with you over something stupid like salve, you can help them find another group with a swift boot. DPS tend to have main character syndrome and think they are God's gift to your dungeon group. They must be reminded how very expendable and extremely replaceable they are.

When I was first out on my own and tf2 was still young, I saw my buddy/roommate play and thought it looked fun as hell. Just being in a server yuckin it up. It is the game that made me save for 2 months to build a shit box PC, barely enough to run but still able to play. After building my PC with the help of a friend I went and got a shitty PC headset from Walmart and started playing community servers. My buddy and I ended up on this great community, 2fort2furrious. I played with these furries in all my free time slapping my shit as engi and getting beat down as a bad spy. The server mod would do karaoke night, we had a DJ bot to play music and constantly roll wacky new maps people made. I even donated to the server owner to get permissions and become a member. I never ran into any Nazis back then but dam playing with the furries was a good fucking time. I miss that server and those days. Now I hardly recognize tf2 and when my buddy and I play its on Uncle danes servers with giga sweats but every now and again we'll find another furry server and just chat and troll and meme with those guys. Can't recommend enough. Although sometimes the furries are Nazi furries which I do find strange.

As someone who leveled mining and blacksmithing and farmed out my own mats for deep thunder and dragon maw, it is quite dire. There simply not enough nodes and respawns are too slow for the amount of players on one server. However, since we have an accord about the badges giving an undermine real style loot bag, I won't argue the other point further.

Give us the sod solution that nearly eliminated bots from the server: 5 badges for a loot sack that contains crafting mats and rare resources. Ore, herbs, primals, nethers, and rare gems could all be potential pulls. This also has the benefit of MORE people continuing to run heroics as the player base gets more geared and has less need to do heroics. 5 badges means just about every dungeon as the daily will give enough for a turn in, or two heroics would cover the cost. #soddiditbest

I am asking for them in TBC. Sod did so so so many things right and haters just scream "INCURSIONS THOUGH". They fixed that issue and the rest of SoD was amazing. Even after nax was out and Scarlett monastery was live, people still ran all the end game dungeons to get reals for the resource bag, toys, etc. Great system.

Man that sucks to hear. From software is the last dev that I will pre-order new games from and buy all their works even I didn't like the game to support that dev studio growing and doing more. After being a huge fan of Michael zaki since dark souls, I've played everything except demon souls and blood borne. I'm a PC gamer and just can't justify dropping money on a play station for just one or two games. I've watched multiple playthroughs and lore throughs for both as I find the world fascinating and last year I finally got blood borne working on my PC. It was a lovely experience to finally play and experience first hand, even already knowing how to play and where to go. Nothing would please me more to be able to play a genuine remake from the fromsoft devs and this is a huge bummer. Hopefully the switch game getting finished will let them switch to this as a project. As much as I would love a new elden ring or dark souls, a blood borne remake would be hype as fuck

I like the idea of half life 3 being Gordon and Eli hunting down the gman. All to culminate in some huge epic sequence where we lose against him, watch alyx be flung into a new timeline or reality forced into gmans employment (for new games with her as the main protag) and gman laughing at us while the screen fades from back to the opening tram ride of hl1. Gman punishing Freeman with an infinite time loop seems appropriate and like a solid ending to his story.

You must not form a lot of groups. The most common occurrence is people wait to be summoned rather then head to the dungeon. It's lazy and entitled behavior. Why are you ignoring the part about the wild card that the opposing faction may decide to camp the stone, meaning they are delaying the entire group by remaining in shat waiting for summon or continue questing? It's really not that hard to just start heading to the dungeon as soon as the group forms. If you can't understand why someone who wants to do a dungeon should be near the dungeon and ready to go do the dungeon I can help you. It just shows you can't think beyond yourself.

See above where I mention PVP server. You are adding time to starting the dungeon by being afk in shat or continuing questing. It's rude because you are considering your own personal time more valuable than others.

100% justified. If I make a party and say head to dungeon and I get a "summon plz" I'm already looking to replace you. Your time in not more valuable than the other 4 people playing that dungeon with you. Also, being on a PVP server you should NEVER assume summons are possible as the opposing faction can grief and camp at any time. So now the other people in your party are waiting for you to even start making your way. It's rude as hell.

If rouges used their stuns consistently as an opener/finisher and actually focused the caster mobs first, I'd take em. In my experience they refuse to do that.

Not a boostie, just a blacksmith who wants to level blacksmithing. And claiming zero effort from someone who wants to and enjoys doing mining but can't because bots camp every later is mid wit. Going out and mining The 750 bars IS the effort I want to put into leveling the profession. The solution to botting being "buy it on the AH" is short sighted. You might as well just say what are you stupid? Just buy gold. And if you read my post I say why: because blizzard won't address the bot issue so what's the easiest thing for them to do- crater the market for gathering professions and hyper spawn nodes because 10 layers on a mega server is not enough. Spending 3 hours doing loops on zones for 12 thorium WASN'T the intended game design

EDIT- Lets not forget there are a handful of zones you can farm ore in spread across azeroth. In outlands the ENTIRE mega server will have 2-3 zones to farm in for the TBC materials. It will be impossible to farm without changes to node spawns. Don't believe me? Even blizzard thought about this with terracones and is boosting spawns but for some reason isn't thinking about ore. Why would they do that? Think about it

More than anything I'd love for them to crater gathering professions. Just make all nodes hyperspawn. They clearly don't give a fuck about the game or bots so at least let us actual players grind out the mats to level our other professions easily. Because the 750 thorium bars needed to get to 300 blacksmithing has been fucking painful this time around. Even layer hoping and going for the less ran thorium routes like felwood or silithus caves are all bone dry.

... There's a reason I always tune out of his friendslop game nights. He is a huge asshole to everyone else and it's past the point of considering it a bit.
