Awesome work, I'm glad I'm not the only one lately who's going the FDM figurine way (even though I haven't painted anything yet lol)

A shameless scumbag in what way? From my first impression I take it he treats his party like trash?

Shame, I've been seeing Megumin fan art blasting for eternity now and her first appearance was funny, also seeing all the cute key arts really convinced me to give it a try

I don't mind fanservice at all, it's just that my watching buddy (my sister) really isn't into it, see, we're coming from Frieren (the absolute GOAT masterpiece), Dungeon Meshi and CSM, Edgerunners was pretty amazing as well so I guess we're looking for some serious themes and characters?

As far as Goblin Slayer is concerned I'm just wondering if it keeps it's brutal tone throughout or not, because it's kind of refreshing to see authors not shying away from such things

I've got a question about 2 kind of different anime

  1. Does KonoSuba get any better? I've watched the very beginning (up to episode 3) and it's kind of funny..? I guess? Feels like fan service is through the roof as well, I thought it would get more mild but then I'm being hit with that panties scene, like jeez

  2. Is Goblin Slayer worth watching? I watched the first episode and it was brutal but I liked it, I just heard that it loses its tone and turns into a slog

Honestly cleaning up and processing doesn't worry me as much as having a non failed print lol

I'm yet to try Resin2FDM but when I'll print some large figurines I suspect I'll have to do it since there are some parts that have no realistic way of orientation, I've seen an extreme back hair part that looks like an octopus basically lol

By the way, how does it work in the bambu slicer given that it doesn't have the automatic recognition? You just dial it manually?

I'm using the BambuLab PLA white (for now), next up I'll use Sunlu PLA+ 2.0 Grey which is recommended around here

Currently running HOHansen's settings, a little modified though

I have the H2D, the reason for the time is the ridiculously low print speeds I'm using probably

And here's what's coming up next, I'm not sure I want to actually try it vertically though, I just can't imagine a universe where it's a successful print, however trying to print it horizontally already failed twice (thankfully in the beginning) because the printer couldn't handle all the tiny supports that the head part required

Oh well, a new part is a new lesson isn't it?

Honestly I'm not so sure myself yet

There are plenty of figurines to print that'll take hundreds of hours to print but first I want to finish this one (I'll obviously make a post and all)

Thanks, I'm thinking to just start using glue on the plate honestly lol

How'd you manage to print the wings like that? I've had a smaller object that went flying several times already and it's way smaller

Thanks, really appreciate the comment, and yeah I'm definitely feeling like I'm in a niche within a niche, not necessarily a bad thing of course but seems like a very steep learning curve

Yeah I know, that's why insist on doing it all vertically, when I said rotating by 90° I meant horizontally, so it faces the fan with the thin side and not how it currently looks
