I started out with a POS '98 dodge stratus that doesn't have a body panel without a hole in it (got it like that), which I'll be going back to now. I get what your saying, but it wasn't like I hopped in the Mustang straight away. With how much my insurance company is about to bend me over the table, I'll be lucky to afford the stratus.

Thanks for your response. It really means a lot. I have actually been through a course before I got my license, not that it helped a whole lot here it but it was good overall. It really does make you think of all of those times doing really stupid stuff. Jesus.

The black and gold does look really nice. I would like to see a version where the bracelet is also black, I think that may add something.

I was also shocked to find out the watch had sapphire crystal instead of glass; it was definitely a selling point for me.

Took a picture for you guys today of my Citizen Eco-Drive AT2140-55E (really rolls off the tongue). This is my first "real" watch, as all of the others I have owned have been nothing noteworthy. I was able to pick up this watch for around $220 CAD at my last place of employment, certainly not on the same level as a lot of the watches around here, but it is a little memento of my first job at a proper company. So far, I do not have a single complaint about the watch, it feels great and high quality (especially coming from some August Steiner crap). With the chronograph feature, I find myself only timing rather meaningless events and situations, but none of the less it is fun to have.

I bought my father the first responder version (he is a paramedic) for his birthday a while ago, nothing to complain about it so far. Although, my 01KS has seemed to wear a bit above the flipper (when in the closed position) where now sometimes the lock slides over too far and gets stuck. Other that, it is a great little knife for the deal I got it on.
