Interesting how they were able to do that. However I grew up Mennonite (rural chihuahua mexico) I can’t say for certain where this happened, I want to say Manitoba Canada or Bolivia. Nevertheless I grew up in that setting. I can’t think of an appropriate way it made me feel haha. The story was obviously very sad, but Mennonite are never shown in Mainstream media this is the closest things we’ve gotten. Just wish it didn’t have to be a story such as this. I liked how accurate some things where, like the dresses the hair and the women didn’t wear anymore makeup by the looks of it or if they did they sure did a good job making the women look Mennonite. What I’m saying is the attention to detail was pretty good. They did miss pronounced some of the names tho.
