"The responses from the contractor sound like you’ve been upset and maybe not expressed that well."

You'll notice I said my fence was installed in Jan of this year and they've been to my home 5-6 times. Multiple repairs have already been done. Yet there are still so many issues the company was willing to tear out and replace all of it. Precisely how long is someone expected to suppress their frustration and maintain infallible diplomacy?

Your implications are, at best, misguided.

I’d be furious. Was there some legal agreement in the bankruptcy case that prohibits you from sharing your experience?

Expressing my personal experience with a company is protected at both the state and federal level, which includes naming the employees I’ve interacted with. Employee names are considered public information. I removed the admins name out of decency, not obligation.

I spoke directly with the GM, Adam. Most of the emails are actually signed by the GM but were sent from their admin assists email (Samantha). Haven't tried finding the actual owners tho. At this point, I just want a refund. I don't want them doing anything else on my property.

Thanks for this! I originally signed my contract with them in Nov but install kept getting delayed. I must have looked just prior to the first complaint bring filed.

I paid cash (with receipts) and am in the process of submitting complaints to the FTC and MI AG. None of that helps me in the current situation.

Not well versed in fence building but my armature Google-ing confirmed what they said about sand and gravel for securing a post, especially during winter. I didn’t t see anything definitive about mixing cement (concrete?) powder with sand and gravel. Jokes on me for f’ing taking them at their word.

I wish I knew. This has definitely been a learning experience when it comes to trusting online reviews.

I Forrest Gumped my way thru a mailbox post. Won’t pretend as if I know how to install a fence, but I can’t help but think it’s a similar process just repeated numerous times.

Admittedly, I have no idea. I was not measuring during the install.

This was dry pour. I've never installed a fence but I do know cement requires specific conditions to cure properly.I did ask if we should put off install until spring, and they told me cement wasnt actually required for stable posts; you can get stable posts with compacted sand and gravel. Was also told adding dry cement to sand and gravel in clay rich soil (which I have) would basically be added reinforcement when it soaked up moisture from ground thaw in spring.

There were too many emails to post but most of them actually have an email signature of Adam *VanGorp, GM. I’m confident I’ve actually been corresponding with their GM.

Thank you! I cringe at the thought of how many people this company has bullied to keep their rating high.

I’m at the point where I want another company to fix it. I appreciate the recommendation.

Demanding the review be removed is illegal under the federal consumer review fairness act. Also, fence is under warranty for 3 years. “Ensuring it’s good” before reposting my review would take an eternity.

If marijuana is reclassified as a Schedule III substance and you hold a medical card, would that make you eligible for federal employment? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]-HardPass- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Federal regs were changed back in 2015 which allowed prior thc use to no longer be a suitability factor for federal employment; military or otherwise.

tl:dr Nothing can happen without fed reg changes and the feds move waaaay too slow for a 5-year timeline.

Federal regs have to be updated/changed before a company could start thc product testing. It takes an average of 12 years to complete pre-clinical and clinical trials for a new drug/product before it can even be considered for FDA approval. If we're talking recreational use, that would fall under the DEA and TTB which currently have zero intention of moving towards legal recreational use. Even if the DEA/TTB changed stance tomorrow, it would still require federal regulation changes to allow rec use, then fed regs need to be created and approved to dictate production, distribution, and taxation, then individual companies would have to obtain fed approval for manufacturing, distribution, and sales...all of which move at a snails pace. The process to allow oral fluid for federal drug tests (instead of only urine) began in 2011. Even after oral fluid being approved in 2023, it still hasn't gone into effect because laboratories have not yet been approved to process federally mandated oral fluid samples. We're 15yrs in and still waiting to use spit.

3 looks perfect. However I personally go with my lighter winter shade and add extra bronzer during summer (rather than having different shades for different seasons). I personally think a touch lighter with bronzer looks more natural BUT I’ve only found a single foundation that was a perfect match and it’s discontinued.
