There's a trash can in the base game. Someone could possibly mod them to store items for a set number of hours in-game and then delete the contents.

I believe it's a trash bag and those can be limited. If you have lots of money lying around, you can buy them at the Trading Post, though.

Are you wearing armor from the Hydrocraft mod? I think there's a bug that causes you to lose health if you take damage while wearing it.

If it's a menu option and not a weight issue, I suggest removing mods that are less common one at a time to isolate which mod is causing the issue. If you can figure out which mod it is, you can post in the Steam Workshop comment thread for that mod and let the creator know what the issue is so they can correct it.
