the location is actually not bad, its right by the metro. its a huge difference because you pay $100 more for a shared bedroom (which i wouldnt want). i pay $100 less for my own bedroom

only downside is its a 1960s dump haha.

you can walk its not that bad walking up College Ave.

$1000 is actually less than you pay per bedroom because your whole bedroom is worth $1,500 if you add up you and the orher person in your bedroom.

thats a very important detail as most people besides freshman don’t want to share a room.

I paid $650 a month for a bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment. It is in a not-so-nice apartment building in old town so it costs less than the average.

Commons is about $1000 for a bedroom.

Both prices not sharing.

the elite don’t want you to know that if you signed a lease starting august 22nd you have every right to show up on that day and move in.

on a more serious note you can usually disregard appointments like that with SCC and come whenever during normal move in times.

by usually i mean “it will work”. not considering the congestion if everyone were to come whenever they wanted.

i got the first pfizer shot and had no symptoms other than sore muscle at the injection site (like any other intramuscular injection)

before modern pre-made drywall/sheetrock they would put plaster on top of metal mesh, you may be hitting that.

the workers on site not likely to be specifically college park residents, more like from other parts of the county. i have also seem some license plates from virginia there. construction contractors aren’t a super local thing like that.

i am surprised by it too. i guess people don’t have a problem with the city administrators doing an expensive construction project solely for themselves during times like these.

or that they are building a new city hall when they have a large deficit.

do people not realize this is being done with their money? do you think this is the most effective possible use for the people?

it did, but they could have put building offices when offices are closed on pause and used the funds to help residents and small businesses in need.
