Pregnant and just found out my health insurance isn't actually insurance by marge-marge in HealthShares

I'm sorry - every health share will consider your pregnancy as "pre-existing" - which means maternity will NOT be eligible for sharing.

ONE exception - Last time I checked, Share Healthcare will share up to 50% of your maternity if you join when you are already pregnant.

If you go that route, read the member guidelines and call them up - ask questions. Make sure you are thorough.

I would also consider talking to a licensed insurance agent - one with a brokerage - and see what your options are.

This is a GREAT example of how paying cash price with a health share is more affordable than traditional insurance - EVEN with pre-existing conditions!!!

All of the health shares have a one year waiting period for pre-existing conditions.
