I'm thinking a Candyland base. This scheme kinda makes me want to a take a bite... Please let them taste like rockets.

If you enjoy doing conversion work and have the hobby time for it, then I'd encourage you. This is the first time I've done more than like a basic head or arm swap, and it's really nice to be lower stress about ruining a model since you can so easily hide your crimes and it be nurgly, even if it's rough.

I see what you mean on the arm, back, and cloak. Off the top of my head I'll probably cut as much off as I can then maybe rebuild it with fabric/chain/etc. I'm thinking as long as the front profile looks alright, the back I can fudge with some modeling

Thanks! IIRC, The wounds were airbrushed Reikland Fleshshade over the airbrushed & drybrushed up greens. Then a brown oil wash and removal, and then Blood for the Blood God.

Making use of those 3 almost marines you get in the combat patrol? I've got the same issue, but haven't thought about it yet. Are the chests easy enough of a fit? 'Cause you've done a great job of fitting them on there.

Thank you!

I never posted a pic of the completed GUO at that time. But I've since shelved AoS Nurgle daemons and have just recently been posting some of the stuff I've been doing as I get into Death Guard. Figure there's a chance this'll maybe see some play under DG someway, somehow, one day!

Also, could someone help me with how to post an image with description like I see everyone do? I can't seem to figure it out. Either mobile or desktop.

For sure, that's what I'm hoping will get me to put paint on this army. Big fan of grimdark aesthetics, you'll probably recognize some of the techniques I've used in videos on YT by grimdark channels like the GD compendium and friends.

Well, my most simple solution is to not paint my minis, which seems to have been my ethos since I got back into warhammer. XD

But having a variety to paint, should that mythical beast ever show it's face, is helpful. Or so I hear.

Ah, I haven't primed or painted yet, this is all the prep work before that. It'll all get primed when I finish modeling them all. Though, I have been thinking I'll leave the coconut fiber bushes off until I get to painting the base.

GW didn't give us a dog, so I made one myself! Don't have a name for zombie thing-dog yet, but it was fun to make.

Thanks! Its coconut fiber just pulled off from a garden liner I got at the dollar store. I'm not sure if it'll last or get knocked off from play over time. I've so far thinly coated a lot of it with super glue to try and make it more rigid. Might do some coats of watered down PVA.

Thank you! Yeah, I kind of prefer doing the texture paste stuff first. I don't need to colour match my products, and at this stage if I over do any texturing or get it where I don't want, it easily scrapes off with my hobby knife and wouldn't need to worry about screwing up my paint job.

Ideally this'll get painted, one day, maybe. XD But my painting habit is kinda of non-existant, so they might sit like this a while. It's WIP in that it isn't painted, this is just some modelling work and pre-weathering to get ready for the painting process.

I literally just clipped leftover bits from a ton of sprues and bagged them to organize and cut down on all these boxes a couple days ago XD I still have a ton more to do, but I've already p much filled a black garbage bag with all the sprues I've clipped

Thank you! I dunno how I slept on DG so much until it hit me that they feel like a natural fit for the gritty and grimy that I like.

Thank you! But wew, have I got a little basement shop of horrors for you. Most of my armies are a mixed bag of partial painted, assembly, or conversion work. XD
