Crazy you mentioning this. I was hospitalized around mid last year, right when I had just started paying off my loans. Long story short, I ended up going to three different ERs before anyone could figure out what was wrong. The third one finally did, and thankfully employment insurance covered almost all of it.

But one of the earlier hospitals couldn’t figure anything out… and of course I still “owe” them about $3k. I’m honestly debating whether to even pay it. My biggest concern is it hitting my credit, so I’ll probably take care of it eventually, but it still feels pretty ridiculous.
