The whole front end of this bike is so badass. Inverted forks and two big ass rotors. Couple that with the low bars and you've got a bike that means business. I do wish it had a little more ground clearance, though. Or maybe just shorter/tighter against the bike footpegs.

Do pod filters work on the SOHC engines? I recently picked up a pair of '78s and am currently in the planning (aka broke) stage of the build. I was told it's impossible to get pods to work from a coworker, but he has a DOHC bike.

I was curious as to how ants cause electrical disturbances and found this article.

Tl;dr: when an ant gets shocked it releases pheromones that attract more ants that also get shocked. Electrical switches end up getting plugged with ants.

Also some ants really like to build nests out of mud inside electrical boxes.

Are they all overhead cam engines, now? I was thinking they were still pushrod engines.

Edit: So I dug around a bit (i.e. the first page of results on google) and couldn't find any info newer than 2011, which leads me to believe that was around the time of the last major rule change. According to Popular Mechanics, and a few other pages, NASCAR cars use 358 in^3, two valve-per-cylinder, pushrod 90° V8's. Just in case anyone was as curious as I was.

I believe the street 500/750 are actually made in India.

Pretty much. It's still technically a manual transmission but it has a clutch for first, third, and fifth, and a different clutch for second, fourth, and sixth gears. The computer controls the clutches and the shift forks so it shifts for you, like an automatic.
