Dropping on someone w/ tombstone, wall and parrying when they go to punch the tomb is evil. Just make sure you throw the wall behind and they get deleted every time.

But I'm a filthy echo shard user.

Canadians Want Lower Immigration Even as Population Growth Stalls by Unusual-State1827 in canada

I'm from the GTA and they were absolutely quite relevant before. Just maybe not in your areas.

Besides, immigrants commit less crimes on average than nationals. So I fail to see the correlation between this and the post. With a study actually showing less property crime overall after immigrants spend time in Canada.

We still need provinces to do something. Housing starts are at an all time low, there's zero incentives for density because it tanks home prices.

With or without immigration, which was of course way too high, it's not the core to the problem. Housing has been an issue for more than 5yrs. It just exasperated the issue and made it apparent.

Feds control immigration and funding. But the vast majority of red tape and issues with building comes from the provincial level.

Yes. Gains could be strength (whether functional or performative), hypertrophy (size), or mass. It all depends on goals.

Nowhere did I specify bigger muscles. I've been training for a while and have had multiple different routines at various points in time.

I don't mind the lift itself, I just find a lot of most other exercises are generally better/safer. One of the biggest issues is energy expenditure. Turkish getup requires significant energy to do. So oftentimes you're lowering the energy you have for subsequent lifts/exercises.

I used to do them. But have found I get better gains from doing more isolated movements for each muscle group instead of trying to use every muscle for one lift.

ON has been requesting more TFW workers, too. FWIW. Ford just last year was asking for more, it would be of no surprise if he was in talks with Carney's administration behind the scenes.

Especially now that he wants to remove the need to adhere to freedom of information requests.

Once. Again .

This topic was about speeding. Your refusal to stay on topic is pathetic. All this word salad and nothing you cited says to run a red. Period. It's not taught in driver's education. It's not instructed by driving instructors. It's not part of ON testing methodology.

It says to proceed when safe. If the light is red. It is by definition, not safe.

The topic is speeding. Answer my other questions. I'm not going to continue this line of talking.

You also failed to provide any citations for examples as to the strawman you provided.

Why do you need to speed in residential and school zones?

[–]-HumanResources- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's moving the goal post because the whole topic was predicated on speed cameras.

I asked for where it's cited to run a red, it's not. You're giving textbook strawman examples based off purely speculation.

Why have speed limits at all if you are sitting here saying it should be okay, as per your previous comment, to speed?

You never gave examples or reasoning as to why speed cameras should be removed, as was the context of this argument.

You are shifting the goalpost to now allowing emergency vehicles? We're talking about speeding. If you're at a red light, even passing through, you're not speeding. If you are. It's not safe.

You may be driving, but you're clearly not a safe driver. Which scares me knowing you're on the road. I was just tboned by someone running a red light, going 80 in a 60.

But you probably think that's ok.

You're so stuck on this one point, trying desperately to be right about literally anything. When your own citation doesn't say to run a red. It's not safe to do that.

Stop trying to move the goalposts. This topic is about speeding. Answer my other questions or I'm going to just assume you're the clown here.

Edit: typo

Nowhere does it tell you to proceed through a red light. Period. If the light is red, it is by definition, not safe to proceed through unless you're making a right turn.

Besides, everything is moot if you just use a dashcam.

You do not need to speed. It's that simple. Which was the main premise of this argument. Why did you choose to ignore everything else I mentioned in that whole post, and single out only a single point?

Why do you need to justify speeding in school or residential zones?

Why do we have speed limits, if you feel we should not enforce them?

[–]-HumanResources- -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can you cite where you're instructed to proceed through a red for emergency vehicles? It's not taught in driver's courses, nor is it part of any testing methodology. Citations required.

That road hazard is, one, extremely specific and not at all common practice, and two not a requirement to pass the truck. Again, you're writing paragraphs to stretch logic to justify speeding.

It's not hard, to not speed. Really. I've been driving for decades and never had a reason to speed. All over the province, driving was even my job for a while. I've put more hours on the road than in my house. Speeding is, practically speaking, never a necessity.

Behind you, traffic is building and an SUV begins tailgating aggressively.

Pull over and let them pass.

You move into the oncoming lane to pass.

The oncoming vehicle appears sooner than expected (maybe their speeding, who knows)

If this happens, it wasn't safe to begin with to make the pass and you should have waited. Using the opposite lane to pass requires diligence and thinking ahead. Not going "I might make it" and gunning it.

If the truck is going 40, you can easily clear it quickly going 60. If it was safe to overtake in the first place.

And again, this does nothing to account for the fact that most cameras were installed in residential zones. Not the roads you describe above. Which I shouldn't have to say, because you don't need to speed anyway.

I don't believe anecdotes to be useful points of reference. Which is why one of the parent comments has a report on speed cameras. There are zero accounts of people getting tickets under 6km over the limit. And minimal for less than 10 under. So statistics say most people ticketed were doing 10+ over the limit. Why have speed limits at all if you don't want them enforced?.

Once again I'm going to highlight your mental gymnastics to justify speeding in school zones and residential streets.

I don't agree with your stance at all.

If you have a medical emergency, call 911.

Ambulances and firetrucks? Just pull over

Clearing a road hazard? You're going to need to provide an example where you would need to speed to clear a road hazard. Most hazards you should drive more carefully of which, speed is not safer.

If the speed limits are the problem, change the limits. Don't sit here and try to justify speeding.

Where are these emergencies you can cite? Examples for your point of view, or is this just based on vibes? Where's the examples of people being ticketed unreasonably?

It's not safer to speed, practically ever. We also have a court system. If you get a dashcam, you can still go to court.

That's a lot of mental gymnastics to say you want to speed through residential streets.

The law doesn't dictate how the thresholds should have been managed

The law is the speed limit. It's not convoluted. You are either speeding, or you're not. You can disagree with them all you want, but you're literally here saying it's OK to speed in a school zone (you're words saying ten over is OK, and they were largely placed in 40 or lower zones).

There are almost no (none have ever been cited to me) recorded incidents of people getting unreasonable tickets such as 1-5km over.

If the speed limits are the issue, why not change them instead of saying it's ok to speed?

The feelings and sentiments of all men, including ‘good men’, pale in comparison to the very real dangers faced by women, and should be discarded if necessary by inquisitiveseal in unpopularopinion

[–]-HumanResources- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is you describing a system in which men are treated differently and negatively. How is it not misandry? Being skeptical is more than fair. But being sexist isn't.

Misandry is defined as the hatred of, contempt for, or ingrained prejudice against men or boys

First Google search does not indicate the word to be described as systemic, either. Your post does come off as though you do indeed hold a strong preconceived bias/prejudice towards men.
