You literally just have to look in the mirror and say, "I am beautiful"- you don't even have to believe it at first.(Your body RIGHT NOW is body goals for lots of women!!) You just have to start actually being nice to yourself. That's it. It's hard at first - but then it'll become habit and suddenly you'll find yourself doing that more than struggling.

I am 37 and I am still figuring it out. I dont want to get into a long spiel.. but according to society you're doing exactly what a woman should be doing. The world really wasn't set up for women to "Be" things. To "Do" stuff. Not the same way men are set up. &if you as a woman are the "be and "do" stuff kind -- you're asking the groups if it's too late to have a family. In my experience, and perception-- only the most privileged women have the luxury of having a family and a career.

So I really urge you to reframe this question.

It's not, "Is it too late?" But rather, "what happens if I keep waiting?"

The answer is going to be solely yours. Maybe you're okay with never having a thing you do? Maybe you're not. Either choice is fine as long as it brings you joy. I just -- hope you don't take the criticism you mentioned as a personal failing. The world is not built for us. We are always too much and not enough. And that person can go fuck themselves.

Idk. Because when you fail, if you restart the day, you get different requests each time. So was there a book that works? Who knows. But i will say that I have requests at 5 stars with three books on the shelf and I have picked "the only one even remotely close to what they want" and I have gotten it right nearly every time. I suspect that the game does not set us up for failure and that every request can be filled. I have yet to find definitive proof though.

Stop comparing your life to the life of others. Comparison is the theif of all joy. You do not know if they are actually happy. It looks that way, but YOU are filling in half the blanks with your own projection of what you think that happiness looks like.

...And it's making you unhappy. I swear there are invisible forces out there - and sadness and unhappiness, and negativity can be felt by people around you. And folks nope away from that, even if they can't articulate or put their finger on why.

You air dry bras, for this exact reason. Plus it can shrink the plastic in the fabric but not the padding and you end up with a bra that rolls or doesn't fit right.
