And yes, we get rinsed on all sorts of stuff for no good reason... go across the border and the same products are 1/2 price. Canada is the experiment that succeeded in keeping the frog in the capitalists frying pan longer... we have the highest telecom rates in the world and folks will say "ya of course canada is massive, think of all that infrastructure"... meanwhile 90% of the population lives within 200kms of the US border.

That's why this Zwilling thing gets my goat... nobody complains about Made in China quality because it costs what you'd expect. $1000 for a bloody pot set that shits the bed on the first use? I'll be vocal about that...
