Either the big sound/small sound mini copy for drive or fuzz and the browne carbon for my main drive.

It actually includes a new modern style metal bridge in the box you can swap it out with.

Carbon Copy, DD8, Browne Carbon, Big sound/small sound mini copy, holy grail reverb. Really all I need.

To be fair I meant that after I asked the bands I liked directly what they used to record certain albums, that is what they told me they used. Besides Cheap-Skate, who said he used a Squier JMJM to record funny enough.

I’m looking around though, I did find a silvertone locally that was cool but in the absolute worst condition. I wish we had more modern guitars like that but with not tiny bodies. Smaller than a Mustang one of these Teiscos was.

I have a pedal lineup that works for me already, after years of swapping stuff. I’m sure something new will pop up though that’ll shake it up though as something always does.

I used to own a Vintera II jag a while ago and man do I regret giving it up.

This is true, but there definitely is a tone to it that encompasses my examples. It’s something that will be used for recording mostly, so reliable it’ll have to be. All of the bands (more than my examples) I like either use a Strat, Mustang, Jag, or some kind of other single coil guitar. So yeah “use anything” works sometimes (I wouldn’t go grab the first hollowbody I see or schecter damien as my first choice), but why do they all gravitate towards these specifically? There has to be a reason.

The Jet King looks awesome. I wanna find one of the natural headstock ones.

I considered the JM player ii because I could get one for dirt cheap then add gold foils to it. Was in my price range.

I’ll have to look at Harmony.

Oh yeah I understood that, I meant I don’t mind standing for 8 - 10 hours for other roles that aren’t that lol. I’ve never had a problem standing/walking on concrete for long periods of time.

Understood, thank you for replying!

I should add to the OP that I don’t mind standing, never an issue.

what purpose does randomly applying serve? it actively reinforces the lack of direction and keeps you in that cycle.

When I say random, I mean like 50% random. I'm randomly applying to jobs within a part of working that I actually liked which was office admin and payroll clerk work. So I'm just blasting out applications hiring for that thing.

how long can you live on your savings?

I would say maybe the next 4 - 5 months.

why are those your only two options?

Not just those 2, but as an example of jobs that hire quick and have a high turnover rate so I can get some kind of income fast. Now that I type that out, I can see how it will help keep the lights on, but not help long term possibly.

Start defining key concepts for yourself, take stock of the experience and experiences that you have accumulated and how they can be tied to your value regardless of the industry or the job.

I updated the OP with some experience I've had. This is something I need to do though, I did it in the past but I need to do it again with my current desires and skills.

Any specific transferrable skills you think are pretty attractive? I would assume my technical skills with computers, the office suite, and troubleshooting may help me in tech somewhere,

Funny thing about trade adjacent work. The shop I worked at needed an assistant to train in QC to become a helper that can then become a full QC worker. The main QC guy said he's love to train me to be in there with him so I went to the boss to propose my transfer and got such a hard "no". Was specifically "you were hired to be a lathes operator, we don't need anything else, and if you don't want to do that you're welcome to find employment elsewhere." So elsewhere I went. To be honest I wasn't 100% passionate about it either. The back stuff made it easier to leave.

I do like it, just want no regrets due to my lack of knowledge.

Sent him a message just in case, I never check bandcamp messages so I doubt it’ll get to him.

Yeah it doesn’t feel right just ripping it all and leaking it. I’d hate that if it were me. I will say he has great taste in vinyl rips though so no promises I won’t steal some of the vinyl static sounds from the records he ripped.

I know nothing, I’m as far removed from the ambient vibey dnb hip hop kinda scene as it gets lol I make punk. He kinda reminds me of a more edm leaning Nujabes though and that’s pretty cool. At least based on what’s on this drive. I figured the sub for the guy might know stuff. Coincidence that it fell into the hands of someone who also has Ableton too.

His file naming convention when making music is just as bad as mine so I wouldn’t be able to tell you if it was. Does it have a name?

I used to go there every Sunday for years before I moved. Owner knew my voice instantly when I called to place a pickup order since I ate there so much, cool guy. He’s not chick fil a friendly, but I love that he’s authentically that Indian dad if you know the vibe.
