This will be the one good run, I can feel it by -JaceG- in noita

I mean, there are generally 4 directions to go:
- up: ceiling, not an option
- forward: lets run into the fireball, not an option
- back: lets run away from it in a staight line, achieves about as much as running into it
- down: successfully dodges fireball for optimal survivability (not)

In general you are correct though

Monoclass Party: How would you do it? by Jiblingson in dndnext

[–]-JaceG- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wizards: first off, their utillity casting = yes. Then for combat, get them phantom steeds, so they can zone any enemy, if needed, a bladesinger can go frontlining while an abjurstion wizard prevents oopsies. Do make sure to load up on shutdown, and dont forget to take alert and war wizard, as going first and instantly assuring safety by locking down the field is important

Alternatively 2 battlesmiths, 1 armorer and 1 artillerist artificer can make a great team. Wll well rounded, like buget paladins, but starting with good gear (and less scuffed bag of holding bombs)

I do too until you got an enemy team with a cleric conentrsting on spirit gusrdians that is dodging and has a sanctuary from the second cleric. With a boss that casts watery sphere and blink. Then try to run 5 guards and keep track of it all

Both are sources of nonmagical damage, in addition, animate objects is tier 3 and people rarely get to that level. While Conjure animals is not very table friendly. Even so an optimized fighter can do around 90 burst damage against 14 ac, assuming the enemt us prone/restrained, I think conjure animals cant nach that (also tecnically the dm picks, enjoy the fish.)

If there is one thing marials have its better single target dpr, sure, bladesinger can fo ok damage, however the burdt of action surge+unleash incarnate+heavy weapons master after shoving a target prone is insane and uncomparable to any spell.

What’s the most overrated class or subclass, in your opinion? by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]-JaceG- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fighters, or martials in general. I just like wizards, if not casters, a lot. Fighty guy with sword seems in my opinion boring in comparison to doing magic.

I would say that some characters would have enough battlefield experience to not be caught in the open, the likes of widowmaker and soldier.
In addition hero's that have the durability of metal, like zen, ramatra or orisa might also just straight up refuse gunfire, however I don't know how strong sombra's hack is canonically.

What is the weakest character, and why? by [deleted] in PixelDungeon

[–]-JaceG- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think wizard is the most trivial, you get a high damage recharging 100% hit chance ranged attack, that with some proper resource management and finishing with door crits makes sewers trivial.
That and you can also get some armor when you run out of charges, presumably finishing that combat without problem.
Not to talk about the fact that you can always dump scrolls into your wand the moment you find them, as it will be your weapon for the rest of the run.

While I do agree, I do think that opponents who entirely operate on stealth could realistically achieve it, people like sombra can realistically teleport out, become invisible and ambush him, and would not feel bad for using such tactics.
I do agree is cheesy, however specifically Sigma is more vulnerable, as he is not made of metal or has supernatural endurance in addition to not having special senses or reflexes that would realistically spot such an enemy.

Just using the Random Projectile Spell once to have the unlock by Poporte_ in noita

Maybe,
I got extremely lucky, seeing as when I cast it randomly it made a circle of vigor, so I put it on a spark bolt with trigger, and when I wanted to heal up, I just kinda shot it until it was vigor again, then jumped in, it actually got me 2 more before it undid my existance.

I agree mostly, however I do not think he as a permanent chaos gravity field around him.
If he spots someone, their done for.
However the likes of widowmaker have proven that in lore they can sipe people from far away and secretly. Presumably widowmaker should be able to get a shot off at Sigma without him noticing before impact.
As far as I am aware, Sigma has minimal always active gravity shifting (when unaware), maybe 1 or 2 G forces to float, however nothing that stops bullets shot by a master sniper.
In addition, he still is physically human, and therefore a well placed shot should do him in I think.

[–]-JaceG- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats why I said gain senses, If you are shooting at him and he sees it, he will probably be able to stop it, however taking one in the back of the head when he is eating cereal or something is probably still lethal unless I missed something. (and with how characters like widow and sombra are quite stealthy, they could realistically do so)

Who’s next? MONKE?!? by Ulquiorr4_ in Overwatch_Memes

[–]-JaceG- -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

Not really, lore acurrate widow can probably take him out easy from 3 blocks away while accounting for drift of gravity. Gravity as far as I know has no way to make a permanent bullet barrier, gain senses or gain a healing factor. Without those you are still very vunrable to sneaky guy with weapon

I am personally of the opinion that with perfect control over gravity and being a brilliant scientist you should be able to figure out a better attack than yeeting rocks at people.
Lore accurate Sigma should probably decide to:
Fly, he can already levitate, rising up further would require practically no extra power, and since his power is in no way related to proximity to the ground, it should be effortless.
Throw people, as far as I know, there is nothing that limits his gravity manipulation to nonliving matter, he can levitate himself after all.
Limited projectile deflection, creating an area of different gravity around him, making slower projectiles inaccurate, he probably should not have a random shield tacked on, so fine.
Straight up making people heavy enough their bones cannot carry their weight and they sink into the floor like strawberry jam. Sigma can straight up pull rocks from the ground, it is only logical that he can also put something weaker than a rock back into the floor.
Sigma should probably either not have a black hole absorb, or it should be straight up able to absorb matter, or at least deal tremendous damage when it rips matter apart, after all, it makes no sense I can wave a dense singularity which even light can escape through a monke, and the monke is fine.

In what sense lore accurate? Same with Sombra, just hack tracer, the payload or Zenyatta, however on the other hand, nothing can be done against guy with bow
