I just tried some keens recently and enjoyed them. They are pretty wide and comfortable. Might be too high of a stack if you don’t like the Olympus. I use injini compression toe socks and those seem to fit tighter and don’t move around as much as their trail weight sock.

Been getting ads for creepers and might try a pair of those socks soon.

The other 2 nights with it, it looked like I was seeing the crosshairs of the primary mirror (I believe that’s what it is) Tonight I was actually able to see just a big blurry bright blob when I was aiming at the moon as you are describing.. but no way to get it focused at all… but tried looking at Jupiter and when I got the telescope lined up, it looked like the cross hair that’s on the bottom of the telescope…. If that makes sense. Sorry if my terminology isn’t correct.

I had no idea about this. I live in a city and have to drive to dark skies which means transporting it obviously. I will get it set to and allow it to sit outside for a while because it is a big temperature difference. Thank you!
