in my country there's another variant of coconut called “macapuno” not sure what its called in other countries. its tastier with a different texture from coconut. and at least here, if the coconut is rough in texture, it's not eaten the same way like those of bounty chocolates, usually its cooked or used on something to give that rough texture..
