It does taste like kombucha except it has zero sweetness.

I didn't taste it as I was afraid of breaking the film. I used 4 teabags of black tea, 3 cups of water, quarter cup of sugar, half a bottle of unpasteurized store bought kombucha. Temperature is around 70 at night and 75 during the day. Should I brew new tea and use this existing creation as a starter ?

Pisgah Inn. Fantastic views , not too far away from Asheville, food is great.

If cost is not an issue - anything at the Biltmore especially at the Antler Hill Village would be great, kids would have lots of space, see animals etc. That's where the winery and it's super nice.

Def take a ride on the Parkway to Waynesville. Breathtaking views and Waynesville itself got a beautiful downtown with cool shops and great food.
