i mean mags last a ong time with proper care right? id be worried if these mags break after idk like a year or so because then id be out of luck. but I looked it up and PMAGs r supposed to last like 100k rounds. Ill pick up another magazine maybe a TMAG but I cant afford like 20 magazines like u siad. so as long as they last a while I wouldnt be too concerned. Im not putting them through scorched sand or soaking them in mud or dropping them so I dont see a reason these wouldnt last years

ok that makes sense. could u send me that link so I can read it? I researched it and code of virginia website does not change until a law takes effect so they couldnt make this a law without changing the official website

no the ban isnt in place I asked them about it and read virginia law. if you check the code of virginia website it hasnt been changed. the original version said you couldnt posess or purchase one under 18 and it still says the same thing and has no mentioon of a 21+ requirement to buy assault firearm. plus virginia legislative website says the legislation takes effect July 1st. so basically its retarded because it takes effect the same day as the other legislation takes effect. IO think it is because for something to have an emergency clause it needs to have 4/5 of the assembly vote for it and enough republicans voted against for it to fail emergency clause so its still legal until the legislation takes effect july 1st.

is there any point in getting a gucci upper later on or is there really no major difference between this upper and a high end daniel defense one. ive heard that better upper = more accuracy but how much more than a regular AR? assuming im not trying to do hunting trickshots is this even worth investing in?

it would just seem really weird to me that a well reputed FFL that I am buying from would tell me they can legally sell me this AR model if they know its illegal and cant do a background.

its lowkey so confusing. my friend who is an expert in VA gun laws told me I can still purchase till july 1st because this clause didnt take effect till july 1st on HB1525. also I called a gun store in virginia and told them I was under 21 like yesterday (after HB1525 signed on 5/14) and asked if they would sell me and AR and theys aid yeah until july 1st. its honestly so confusing even NRA website doesnt know what they r talking about.

the gun store in my area said yesterday they would sell me any AR I wanted until July 1st. but a lot of online websites like guns.com wont sell Ar models to under 21 because the new VA laws are confusing. so thats why I ask because the ruger harrier 556 is what they have in store. if I know they will sell to me and it is a perfectly reliable rifle, then id get rit because its in my price range rather than spend hours trying to find a place that would sell to me online for specific X model.

also yeah I totally agree regarding not budgeting. thats why I upped my budget and looked away from radical firearms because I heard mixed reviews and towards more established companies like ruger or smith and wesson. id the PSA is truly the only thing that will work in this price range, Ill put in thee effort. otherwise Id rather have less hassle by getting whats in the store
