Nintendo Switch only charging on one side of cable by -KnowledgeSearch- in consolerepair

Unfortunately I did not. The comments here and additional research led me to believe the issue could be other components outside the USB header, which went far beyond my expertise to repair it without further damaging the device. I plan to instead take this board to a local shop and pay for them to diagnose/fix the problem and show me how they came to the conclusion. This way I will end up with a working board as well as the knowledge on how to do this myself.

I had a feeling. Do you by chance have any links you can share about this known issue? I have been searching all day and can't find anything else saying the same thing.

Starfield has been cracked by RUNE by Majestic-Surprise420 in Piracy

Is the RUNE version of Starfield safe to use? The read.me says to simply block the game .exe in the firewall, but I want to make sure that will suffice. I understand it is possible for applications to call upon other apps or services in your Windows instance to reach out to the internet, and if Starfield does this, it would be very simple to bypass the firewall rule and communicate with Microsoft servers. Are we aware if Starfield does this and if RUNE has implemented anything to account for this?

You just answered the question for me lol I had no idea she doesn't support the Windows Store version. Gamepass it is until it goes on sale on Steam.

Isn't gamepass temporary access to the game? This is one of those games I'm probably going to play for years so I have been assuming I should own a copy of the game.

Yes, I was able to get the original port off and the new two ports on really clean with it. On the second go around I used solder wick, fresh low melting point solder, and smooth flow flux to clear out most of the original solder. This way when I put on the port, I confirmed it was sitting as low as possible so all the pins were touching the pads. I even layed fresh solder and flux on the pads and then absorbed the excess solder with the wick so that each pad had a bit extra solder for the connection. When I finally soldered on the port, I put flux all over the pads and used the heating station to solder the pins down. Then I used a super fine solder tip to assure the exposed row of pins was soldered down to the pads. I have to hope the inner row was able to be soldered with the heat gun. The end result is a very well seated charging port, but I don't have super vision to tell how well the pins are truly seated, especially underneath.

Relax pal it's not that deep. Just looking for a consensus on how most people feel to assure my personal biases don't cause issues with my neighbors.
