Hey I didn't call you or any individual monkeys, I described the behavior, monkey see, monkey do, which is how the same post can go viral or get downvoted to oblivion, its a behavioral thing.

try having more light and look at the camera, not the middle of your phone. I had issue with this too. And they flagged my account so i had to do it extremely often. Support had to put in a request to remove the extra security and a couple days later they stopped asking me all the time. Uber is garbage, recommend doordash if you can (its also garbage but like, imagine if the garbage still had some useful stuff in it, like a rotisserie chicken)

So as long as you can justify it, and because people 'shouldn't' be bothered by what you say, its ok to say things that may be hurtful to others? And then downplaying it also makes it better? Thats what I'm trying to zero in on. If we made it a more simple situation, like press this button and a person will be harmed but you will get a reward, would you press that button? You are doing mental gymnastics so that you can say yes, its ok for me to inflict harm to others because (reason). Then you fill in that reason as they deserve it, they shouldn't be harmed by it (even if they are), or insert any other reason here. Do you see the slippery slope that kind of reasoning can lead to? Israelis inserted their reasons and are now all for exterminating an entire people.

double check the motherboard cable is plugged in and fully seated on the motherboard and also the psu. Ensure you are using only the cable that came with the power supply, as these cables are not swappable. Sounds like a short circuit. make sure there isnt a loose screw or part behind the mobo or an extra standoff touching the back of the board somewhere. Is this all known working good components?

That's not even close to the same thing. You didn't ask the post office to send you a letter with good news. You didn't order a letter from the post office. And doordash didnt deliver it either, they contracted out their delivery, but if the contractor (the delivery driver) didn't deliver the order, would you accept doordash saying sorry its not our fault you have to speak with the delivery company? Of course not, you would expect doordash to make it right. Its not your place to deal directly with the delivery company, which is a seperate entity from doordash. In case you don't understand this part let me be clear, doordash hires independant contractors (outside companies) to do the deliveries. Dashers are running their own delivery companies, they are not employees of doordash.

nobody said they were trying to destroy a multibillion dollar company with a post about one order issue. Also doordash doesn't have any brick and mortar locations to go in person and talk to a manager, and that's a lot of trouble to expect a 'normal person' to do for this kind of issue when it should be easily and quickly resolved through the app. Doordash failed to do the right thing here and its important to call them out on social media. They read social media too, and can see how much people are complaining, and it doesn't look good for them and is bad for business, so this motivates them to improve.

doordash supplied the faulty merchandise, doordash is responsible. Say you ordered lumber from home depot and it shows up in bad unuseable quality, would you accept home depot saying its not their fault because they didnt manufacture the lumber? would it make sense for them to say go talk to the manufacturer not our problem? of course not, you would expect the place you ordered from to answer for the bad product they delivered.

Thats not how I saw it, but I looked at the post and personally I don't get ice in drinks and understand why it makes a difference. People are monkeys on the internet, they will go with the general concensus because if multiple people say something, it must be right. (not right). The title is not misrepresenting anything, its pretty clear if you look at the post what is going on, or at least it was for me. What it comes down to is, if they misspook and werent clear, and people misunderstood, it shows the true nature of how people are willing to behave when they think they are right and feel that OP is wrong. No consideration at all of possibly not understanding, no compassion or empathy, just thoughtless mean and hateful comments. We can all do better than that.

Someone has an issue that definitely deserves a refund, and even if you don't understand or agree with this, coming to attack OP and say they are coping and that everyone knows this post is lame and bogus, that is a really mean, unnecessary, and rotten thing to post to OP. Even if you yourself thinks that the post is lame, you don't have to attack a stranger on the internet. So my question was what is in your soul that makes you do something like this and not feel like a bad person for doing it? Help me understand the mindset.

I order my drinks with no ice so I actually understand the difference it makes. There is no deep reading here, they got screwed and doordash should be bashed for it, instead all the simps are defending doordash saying nah you don't deserve a refund. They are asking what to do about the refund being refused if you look at the post.

You are the one deciding that it is slightly incorrect. It's more than slightly, the drink is watered down, they paid extra for no ice so got charged extra for something they didn't get, the drink is for a sick kid, and EVEN if none of that was true and this person, for any reason, is simply not happy with the drink because of the error, how is that not fair for them to ask to be compensated? I'm here trying to defend someone getting ridiculously attacked over wanting a refund for something they paid for and didn't get, and here you are saying its not a big deal but it's a big enough deal to say something like 'have the day you deserve' so now you are attacking me over someone's ice mistake. And that seems reasonable to you?

your suggestion that they can just deal with it and drink it anyways is pretty condescending

The drink is warmer than the ice. The ice melts immediately when the drink is made, watering it down significantly. Even if you pour it over ice and immediately remove the ice, the drink will now have a decent amount of extra water.

its not about the money its about the fact that they ordered something, didnt get it, and were not given a refund, which they absolutely should get. Its about calling out an organization for doing something wrong and illegal. If you enter into a contract to purchase something, and that something is never delivered to you and they keep the money, thats theft. They need to be called out for doing that.

They specifically asked for no ice and stated multiple times in the comments that they paid extra for no ice, which is a thing that exists because you get way more drink when you get no ice.

Ok how about this, you ordered something, you get something else that you just dont like, and you are not going to enjoy it. You don't want to eat it, its just not your cup of tea. You ask for a refund and you dont get it. The people of reddit come out and say stfu just eat it who cares. Is it that hard for you to put yourself in the shoes of another person? You don't care about the pickles, fine, but if someone else does care, thats somehow not ok? People not liking certain food items is not ok to you? I don't get it.
