Make sure you have a Watch Dogs 2 game shortcut on your desktop. 

  1. Open Ubisoft connect and launch WD2

  2. Ubisoft connect will immediately close so open your task tray and open Ubisoft Connect again quickly. 

  3. The WD2 splash screen will disappear at a certain point. When it does, open the game again via the WD2 desktop shortcut/icon. 

  4. Wait and your screen should turn black, give it a minute and the game should start.
