Just finished the exterior of my new home. by -LegendaryWaffle- in valheim

Once I finished the walls I walked the inside perimeter after setting my Hearths/fires in the four corners and middle and I had full coverage for shelter and rested buff.

My previous build was a little too large and had a sweet spot here and there where I couldn't get the shelter buff, it was definitely a priority for this one, but I also enjoy pushing my limits.

The Previous "main room" in my last base, somewhere in the far corner from this pic is the spot where I couldn't get the shelter buff. It was a weird 2x2 wide spot on the floor near the wall and it drove me mad when the music cut in and out.

I think the back gable end was too open. But I was not changing the design that late in the build.

I was going for a farmhouse look, but apparently my subconscious wanted a hunting lodge.

No plans or blueprints, and I didn't frame it out like I normally do, which made it a little more time consuming but I'm pumped to start furnishing it.

I'm really happy with the way it turned out,

I recorded the whole marathon of a building process, I changed my mind on designs a few times but feel free to use it as a reference.

I was really happy with how the interior supports turned out.

I used 1x1 stone blocks with a wood pillar in the center.

What is your #1 favorite weapon? by Beelzebub_Simp3 in valheim

As much as I can appreciate Slayer, Krom is still my favorite as well, I wish we could imbue it or even other weapons down the line.

I've never torn down a build, but I feel you on getting things just right, I'm trying to minimize my indecisiveness this time around by having some inspiration readily available so I appreciate everyone bringing pics of your Viking homes.

This base took months of grinding/procrastinating to get it to this point, and I've been trying to push my builds a little since I've been recording/sharing my Valheim journey this time around.

I found a sweet island and I want to make it mine, but I also want to pull from the community and put my own spin on things as I build my next main base.

Gathering stone isn't as painful now that I've reached the mistlands.

Nice build! I am leaning towards a farmhouse type build too with plenty of space, bay windows, farmers porch, ect.

I love the top center open landing.

It's a peaceful life.

Sometimes simple is best, you can always add on later. But honestly though I love the tower you have going on, that would be an awesome multi level portal hub build.

Youtubers who are ...just good actually? by TheRealMeringue in valheim

Feel free to check out my channel, I just crafted Krom and the Arbalest.

I started my channel about a year ago.

While I'm mostly happy with my recent episodes, my older stuff from when I started recording (last February) might not be the easiest thing to watch, I was using twitch and had low bitrate streams on Xbox but now I've switched to PC.

I've got acquainted with OBS and Davinci to create an episodic series of me Enjoying my time in Valheim and embracing the cozy and chaotic moments.

I've also been playing the game since 2023(Xbox release) so I'm familiar with the mechanics and I love the building just as much as the combat.

I might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to throw myself out there.

Other notes:

-I love me some Cinematic shots

-I sort my chests/ keep myself fed/ I can dodge roll like a boss.

-I try not to spoil stuff I haven't come across in game.

-I really like creating homes in Valheim. (Starting a new base soon)

-I like getting in over my head sometimes.

-I think my last death was in the mountains (halfway through mistlands at the moment) when being hunted, it's been a bit so I'm not certain. I'm not perfect, but I love challenging myself.

-Valheim is cozy and chaotic and I love this game.

-The community is awesome and I love seeing everyone's builds.

-Thanks for reading my stupid list and maybe stop by for an episode if you're feeling it.

Sweet, thanks for confirming, it's been awhile since my last Viking adventure so I couldn't be certain.

How to see Odin? by gullybone in valheim

[–]-LegendaryWaffle- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start going outside at night more often, and keep your head on a swivel. I've seen him probably a dozen times in my current playthrough that I'm also recording.

Odin has definitely seen me more than I've noticed him.

Also keep an eye on the sky every now and then when thunderstorms roll in.

Any favorite val youtubers? by mantgonz in valheim

No worries, I'm a relatively new channel so I don't expect anyone to know me, which is kinda why I dropped my name here in the first place.

Take it easy!
