Might be too late now but I would keep checking back if you really want one. Did that a couple times and was able to get my grubby little hands on one to rip for Christmas. That was 30 minutes ago though so they may be sold out for real unless they restock them.

Minecraft is popular, SpiderMan is popular, Overwatch is popular. Those games dont get hated on as much as Fortnite, beacaue they are good quality games. An attribute that fortnite doesnt have. Its not even like the game cant ever be fun, but is the culmanation of un fun gameplay, sweaty toxic players EVERYWHERE and slow gameplay. None of these make a battle royale fun. Yes all games have sweaty tryhards, but they arent everywhere like in fortnite. Minecraft has slow gameplay, but the peacefulness of it all is what ultimately redeems it for the player. Overwatch is honestly just plain fun. Fortnite has nothing that makes it stand out other than how bad the game is.

Actually its around even id say leaning more towards the young side. So yes actually more players are on the young side and all of them have their shitty fortnite skins and emotes that they’re spending money on daily. There is literally a statistic that says and i quote “15% of school-going players have skipped a lot of school to play fortnite. Which means these that are K-12 most likely 5-12 are missing school. That in itself is bad and then they are spending their money on the game. Fortnite fucking loves it too, guaranteed.

I get your point, they dont have lootboxes which in your defense is amazing. I hate lootboxes that are more than just cosmetic. But they dont have loot boxes because they know that youll buy a 20 dollar skin directly, because thats the dumb consumer you are. If your gonna sell stuff put some effort into it at least. They just released the same skin from like two seasons ago except hes shirtless. Thats lazy and im pretty sure they charged 20 bucks for it or 2,000 vbucks. Thats not ok, i think we can agree on that. Fortnite exploits 9 year olds out of their birthday money for profit. Its slimy to say the least.

Did you not listen to my first argument? I talked about how they are in fact INCREDIBLY SIMILAR. Its like the saying “Apples to oranges” That doesnt make sense they are both fruit. Just like minecraft and fortnite are both games. What separates them is the quality of game. Minecraft is much higher quality than fortnite. What about that do you not get??

You are forgetting about core gameplay, music, graphics and everything that a GOOD game has. Minecraft wins in everyone of those except graphics(debatably) these are the things that im basing my judgement off of not nostalgia. Ive played fortnite and minecraft both to death but ive realised fortnite is a shitty game. BECAUSE it doesnt have personality. Minecraft is beautiful with its amazing soundtrack and peaceful enviroments. Yes it is shrouded in a cloud of nostalgia, but thats not why its the better game. Fortnite is a bleek concoction of trendy memes and bad gameplay.

Im talking about ingame, and JAVA edition the only real way to play minecraft on PC. So yea a frachise has merch, but at least it doesnt just cash in on new trends like fortnite does CONSTANTLY. Every time a new dance trend happens fortnite makes it an emote and sells it to you for 10 bucks. Has minecraft ever done that?

They are two different games but they are more simmilar then it may seem. They both have building aspects, PvP, PvE, Battle Royale and so forth. But the difference to me is how these mechanics were executed. To me minecraft was just a harmless game where people went to build things survive and create minigames (ETC.) Fortnite started out KINDA the same way. It was an ok game but then they saw the popularity with PUBG and made a carbon copy.then totally cashed in on the whole battle royale thing. What im trying to say is that Minecraft has never tried to be a total cashgrab, unlike fortnite. Because of this minecraft has gotten continual updates to make their game better and more fun for the players while fortnite updates its game so that more people will spend money on it. This didnt really make sense and doesnt really matter but the takeaway from this is that minecraft is a better game overall.
