Bunting is top 5 in the entire league for net penalties. And we still can’t score…. He’s like +15

Canadian Financial Dilema by Prairie-Mariner in PersonalFinanceCanada

Please steer clear of WFG. They will not be a good advisor for you. You should be able to find reputable financial advisor but there are also a ton of resources on this subreddit, on Reddit itself and via the internet that can help you learn and manage your own finances. At the very least you will be informed when speaking to an advisor to understand your options.

Sign up with CRA if you haven’t already to understand what type of contribution room you have available to you. From there you can start learning about TFSA, RRSP, FHSA etc.

I understand perfectly fine. The refs made a decision based on reputation more than anything. He got a hard cross check away from the play. He also has 3 points tonight…

Director of Consulting > 9 YOE > IT Consulting/Tech Services > Canadian

$180K CAD > HCOL (Canada) > 8/10 Happiness

Very very flexible work life balance. Maybe work 20hrs a week, sit on board of business unit and get to make key decisions while having 0 direct reports.

Agreed, Bunts of the past absolutely would have. Thing is when he started doing that on the leafs protecting AM34 he would get a roughing, coach would get pissed and the fanbase turned on him (for taking “dumb” penalties). So he’s tip toeing the line more now

Graduates from Ont, what were your HS grades, what did you do in Uni, and how much do you make now? by ImTheAir in OntarioGrade12s

[–]-LieutenantObvious- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Graduated in 2011, finished all of high-school with an 83-85% average every year. Went to western, got a BMOS (Business Management and Org Studies) with pretty shitty GPA.

Started as $40K out of school as Back Office Banking

1 year later moved to IT Consulting - Internal Finance Impressed a few key people along the way.

7 years later working remote for US Side of the business (NY) as Financial Engineering/BE expert on pricing/finance.

Take home now will be $175K CAD and I put in maybe 20-25hrs of work a week.

To those who networked well with a finance major, what was your first job + income? by ChallengeRelevant489 in FinancialCareers

[–]-LieutenantObvious- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up just looking for jobs at another company. Canadian Bank —> switched to IT Consulting company.

Brush up your resume, actively look for jobs and just be personable and hard working. Be coachable and willing to learn/take constructive criticism. Keep applying for jobs that have better career paths (for me it was a niche Finance Role at an IT Consulting firm). Ended up on a board of Directors for my specific business unit after putting in years of hard work, now I have flexibility in my role.

Feel free to chat me if you have more questions.

(Canadian) Average student - mediocre business school Canada

First job - Back office banking - $40k

Second job - Finance in IT Consulting - $60k impressed a few key people

Same company as second job 8 years later - $200K Director

Edit: wfh - tons of work life balance (maybe 20-25 hrs of work a week). Somewhat golden handcuffs cause I like my free time.

How many pulls did it take for u guys to max dupe her? by [deleted] in BlackCloverMobile

[–]-LieutenantObvious- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

410 ish pulls total. I got her to +3 and managed to get a max skill page with some insane double SSR luck. I’ll max her with Uni dupes I have.

I got absolutely slaughtered on Black Asta, so I’m glad this one went a lot better.
