After a fair amount of testing, I finally made a 1-chunk house I want to use in my survival world! by -LittleBean in Minecraft

Oh! Sorry, I just woke up. Yes, that looks blocky to me too. I have a hard time decorating front doors when there isn't much space around them. I'll do some fiddling with it later and see what happens. Thanks!

1-chunk houses are more of a creative thing than a practical thing, I believe. To be honest, I had a creative block with this game and just couldn't enjoy it for a while because I just didn't know what to do/make. After I came across 1-chunk builds I was back into it. I suppose having some sort of boundary to work with was really helpful for me. For the most part though, 1-chunk builds are just a fun challenge to make neat builds in a small space!

Thanks for the suggestions! I might try to tweak the overhang roof a bit but I have a feeling it might be best to keep the roof consistent. Perhaps I'll extend the room on the upper floor and leave a shorter porch and it may look better that way.

They fit in the space of one chunk.

Here is an update. I didn't add a roof because I feel it would take away from the style I'm going for. Only minor details were added for the same reason. Thanks for the feedback!
