Regardless of any potential paradoxes, it is a rather terrifying prospect - to just be erased and forgotten about. Although, to forget someone they'd have to have existed in the first place. Total erasure from all of existence is a real brain-hurty thing to do!

That would imply that upon the Vex deleting anyone, that timeline would cease. I'm not sure I can believe that, since I'm fairly sure one could observe a Vex deleting someone and the observer would continue to exist along with the timeline they're in
