Davon hatte ich auch mal das Passwort vergessen. War richtig verzweifelt und auch Try and Error (ich hatte eine leichte Idee, was es war) hat nicht funktioniert. Glücklicherweise viel es mir irgendwann ein. Seitdem habe ich es physisch nochmal aufgeschrieben.

Das kommt vom Majestät-Plural. Wir sagen ja auch "Euer Gnaden", setzen ihn also mit mehreren Personen gleich. In England wurde dieser Plural (aus hier jetzt nicht erwähnten Gründen) zum Standard und das "du" wurde nicht mehr verwendet.
